Which API does it use?
Section titled “Which API does it use?”The official Octopia Seller API v2 (https://api.octopia-io.net/seller/v2, token from https://auth.octopia-io.net), the API Octopia
documents for Cdiscount Marketplace sellers on developer.octopia-io.net. No scraping, no unofficial endpoints.
Do I need my own Cdiscount account?
Section titled “Do I need my own Cdiscount account?”Yes. You sell with your own Cdiscount seller account and your own Octopia API credentials; the add-on calls Octopia directly from your store.
Which editions and versions are supported?
Section titled “Which editions and versions are supported?”CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor and Multi-Vendor Ultimate 4.17.2 to 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 to 8.3.
Do my products need an EAN?
Section titled “Do my products need an EAN?”Yes. Cdiscount matches every offer to a catalogue product by EAN (GTIN). Keep the EAN in a product feature, in the product code, or type it on the Listings page.
My product is not in the Cdiscount catalogue.
Section titled “My product is not in the Cdiscount catalogue.”Switch on “Create missing products”. The product needs a French name and description (French is the only language Cdiscount shows; the add-on never sends another language as French), at least one image, a brand and a mapped Cdiscount category. Octopia reviews the product; the offer follows once it is integrated.
My store sells in USD (or another currency).
Section titled “My store sells in USD (or another currency).”Cdiscount prices are in euros. The add-on converts with the euro rate you enter on the Rules page or the rate of Administration > Currencies, and turns the euro amounts of Cdiscount orders back into your currency.
Are prices sent with or without VAT?
Section titled “Are prices sent with or without VAT?”With VAT, as Cdiscount expects. Products whose CS-Cart tax is net get the VAT added first; the VAT rate is sent with every offer.
Are returns imported?
Section titled “Are returns imported?”No. The returns routes of the Seller API belong to the Octopia Fulfilment service; returns of orders you ship yourself stay in the seller portal.
Where are my credentials stored?
Section titled “Where are my credentials stored?”In your store database, the client secret encrypted with your store key. Nothing is sent to Kavio Labs.
What happens when Octopia is down or limits my calls?
Section titled “What happens when Octopia is down or limits my calls?”The job waits (for the Retry-After time on a quota answer, with back-off otherwise) and continues later; nothing is lost or sent twice.
What happens when the license expires?
Section titled “What happens when the license expires?”No new work is started; your data stays. Enter a valid key to continue.
How do I get support?
Section titled “How do I get support?”Through your Kavio Labs account or the CS-Cart Marketplace product page. Include the log lines of the problem (Log page, CSV export).
My license shows “Pending verification”
Section titled “My license shows “Pending verification””This status appears in older add-on versions when you use a CS-Cart Marketplace license number that our license server has not matched with the Marketplace yet. The add-on is fully working in this state: no feature is switched off and you do not need to do anything. Newer versions show it as Active (Marketplace license). We confirm Marketplace numbers on our side; click Check now on the add-on’s License tab (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → the add-on) a little later and it shows Active. If it has not changed after 24 hours, contact support with your Marketplace order number.
Still stuck?
Section titled “Still stuck?”Work through the troubleshooting guide, then contact support with your CS-Cart version, edition, PHP version and the add-on version (1.0.0).
