Fetch Theme

Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view

Fetch is a classic, conversion-first storefront theme for pet supply stores: dog and cat food, treats, toys, beds, grooming, aquarium and small-pet supplies and vet-care basics. Every standard e-commerce element sits where shoppers expect it, and the theme answers the questions pet parents ask first: “is it right for my pet?”, “which food fits this age and size?” and “which bag size is the better deal?”. Shoppers browse by pet and by life stage, save their pets once and get one-tap links and “Good for” hints, find food in four taps, and see the price per kg of every bag.

Fetch, Park style, home page

  • The Fetch theme, a child of the standard Responsive theme, so every add-on keeps working.
  • Four styles:
    • Park (default): warm white, a cobalt category band and food finder, tennis-ball lime buttons, coral sale tags and lifted white cards.
    • Meadow: sage white and forest green with tangerine buttons, flat cards and soft-shouldered arches, for feed and farm stores.
    • Whiskers: blush and plum with butter-yellow buttons and sticker cards, for cat and small-pet shops.
    • Nightwalk (dark): petrol navy with reflective-orange buttons and lime “New” tags.
  • Pet-door arches: product images stand in arch-topped wells, the homepage shows a tall arch per pet, and the hero image sits in a large arch. Sale and New tags look like pet ID tags.
  • Shop by pet: one arch per department (dog, cat, fish, bird, small pet, health), each in its own colour, with the number of products.
  • Shop by life stage: puppy & kitten, adult and senior cards with an illustration; a life stage bar above category and search lists.
  • My pets: shoppers add their pets (pet, name, life stage, breed size, diet) in a small dialog. Each pet becomes a chip under the category band that opens matching products, and product cards that suit a saved pet show a “Good for Biscuit” line. Pet profiles stay in the shopper’s browser: nothing is sent to your store.
  • Food finder: pet, life stage, breed size and diet chips; “Show my matches” opens the standard product search in the pet’s food category with the matching filters, and can save the answers as a pet.
  • Price per kg: next to the price on cards and product pages, from the bag size the shopper picks (“2 kg”, “6 kg”, “12 kg”) or the Net weight feature. Bag sizes show as chips on cards and as size buttons on product pages.
  • Vet-approved and ingredient badges: Vet approved, Grain free, Natural ingredients and Real meat first, from checkbox product features; one on each card, all of them in the product page’s Made for panel together with the pet, life stage, breed size and diet chips.
  • Repeat delivery hint: shown on product pages only when a subscription or repeat-order add-on is installed and active in your store. Fetch never sells subscriptions itself.
  • Header: top bar with your promises and quick links, logo, a wide search, labelled Account, Wish list and Cart icons with counters, and a category band with a mega menu (subcategory columns and an illustrated department tile) and a Deals item.
  • Homepage: a hero slider (headline with a hand-drawn underline, text, two buttons and a price sticker for a paired product; edited as banners), a promise strip, Shop by pet, the food finder, Best sellers / New arrivals / Deals tabs with deal countdowns, Shop by life stage, two promo banners, Vet-approved picks, brand wordmarks (on Multi-Vendor: store cards), customer reviews, Pet care tips (blog), the newsletter and a full footer.
  • Category pages: life stage bar, subcategory chips, product filters restyled (pet, life stage, breed size, diet, brand, price), sorting, grid and list views and a promo tile in the grid.
  • Product pages: gallery in an arch, brand eyebrow, price with the price per kg, bag size buttons, the Made for panel, delivery / returns / advice rows, the stock tabs, Complete the starter kit (this product and two popular products for the same pet, added in one go) and popular products; a sticky add-to-cart bar.
  • Multi-Vendor: store cards on the homepage and a shop header on every vendor page.
  • Phones: compact header with the search below, a bottom bar (Home, Shop, Search, Account, Cart), swipe rows, a filter sheet, a swipe gallery and the sticky add-to-cart bar.
  • Installs with complete demo content: the store looks finished right after activation.
  • Self-hosted fonts (Gabarito and Rethink Sans, SIL Open Font License); no external font requests.
  • CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor and Multi-Vendor Ultimate 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on 4.17.2 and 4.21.2).
  • PHP 7.2.5 to 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version.
  • Works with the full page cache of 4.21: theme output holds catalogue data only; My pets, the food finder and the starter kit totals run in the shopper’s browser.

Fetch uses a domain-bound licence like every Kavio Labs product. Without a valid licence (after the 14-day period of a new installation, or 14 days after the licence server became unreachable) the storefront shows the standard Responsive look instead of the Fetch design; cart, checkout and orders keep working and visitors see no message.
