Gift Wrap & Gift Messages turns any order into a gift. At checkout the customer switches on “This order is a gift”, picks a gift wrap from the options you offer (with a picture and a price), writes a personal message with the sender and recipient names, and can send the parcel to someone else. You print a gift receipt without prices to put in the parcel.
- Gift wrap options with prices: name, description, picture, price, taxes and position, offered for all products, for selected categories or for selected products. One wrap per package, a wrap per product, or both.
- A separate line in the order total: “Gift wrap $9.00” appears in the cart totals, the order summary, the customer’s order page, the admin order page, invoices and order e-mails. Taxes are calculated with the taxes you select for the wrap, and a percentage payment surcharge includes it.
- Gift message: with a character limit and a counter, optional From and To names. Saved with the order; you can correct it on the order page.
- Send to someone else: the recipient’s address is entered as the shipping address, the customer’s own address as the billing address, using the checkout fields CS-Cart already has.
- Gift receipt: a printable packing slip without prices, with the gift message card, the ship-to address and the items. Admins, vendors (for their own orders) and customers can print it.
- No prices in the shipment e-mail: for gift orders the shipment notification gets no price data, even with a customised e-mail template.
- Multi-Vendor: every vendor package is wrapped separately; each vendor sub-order carries its own wrap and fee, and the vendor sees the message and prints the gift receipt in the vendor panel.
