Show the posts of your own Instagram professional account on the storefront as a grid or carousel, tag your products on each photo and let shoppers buy from a post dialog.
Key features
Section titled “Key features”- Works with the current Instagram API with Instagram Login (graph.instagram.com, permission instagram_business_basic). The retired Basic Display API is not used.
- Two ways to connect: paste an access token from the Meta App Dashboard, or connect with your own Meta app through Instagram login.
- The access token is stored encrypted and refreshed by the add-on before it expires (60-day tokens).
- Posts and resized image copies are kept in your store: storefront pages never call Instagram.
- Block “Instagram feed” with Grid and Carousel templates, 3 to 6 columns, account header with a Follow button.
- Product tags with numbered pins on the photo; the post dialog lists the tagged products with prices.
- On product pages the block can show only the posts in which the current product is tagged.
- Show, hide and pin posts; new posts can arrive hidden for review.
- Copy a post with its pins into a Shop the Look look (when our Shop the Look add-on is installed).
- Sync by cron, by the Sync now button, or when an administrator opens the page and a sync is due.
- CS-Cart Ultimate: one account per storefront or one shared account.
Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 to 8.3.
- Tested on CS-Cart 4.17.2 and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 against a local mock of the Instagram API; templates compiled with the Smarty 5 engine of 4.21.2. A live Instagram account was not used in our tests.
