Configuration
Go to Marketing > Announcement bars and open a bar, or press New bar.
Messages and look

| Messages | Up to three per save; more after saving. Each one takes turns with the others |
| Link | Optional. A full address or a path such as /sale/ |
| Background, Text colour | Colours of the bar |
| Seconds per message | 2 to 60 |
| Coupon code to copy | Shows the code as a button. A tap copies it |
| Countdown | Pick a promotion. The bar shows the time left until its end date and hides when it ends or is disabled |
Texts are plain text. Each language keeps its own texts: switch the admin language to edit another one.
When and where

| Starts, Ends | Optional dates. The visitor’s browser checks them as well |

| Customer groups | Leave all unticked for everyone. For example Registered shows the bar to signed-in customers |
| Countries | Two-letter codes. Leave empty for everyone |

Countries
Section titled “Countries”The country comes from a header that a CDN adds, such as Cloudflare CF-IPCountry, or from the profile of a signed-in customer. Without either, a bar with countries does not show. The add-on makes no outside call to look up a country.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”The pages use the Manage promotions privilege. Vendors have no access.
CS-Cart Ultimate
Section titled “CS-Cart Ultimate”A bar made while the admin works with all storefronts shows on every storefront. A bar made with one storefront selected shows only there.
