Configuration
Part of the Colissimo Labels, Pickup Points & Tracking documentation. Previous: Installation. Next: Usage.
1. Colissimo credentials
Section titled “1. Colissimo credentials”Open Orders > Colissimo shipments > Connection (administrators and, with their own account, vendors).
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Web services application key | Generated in your Colissimo Box (profile, “Web services connection key”, button Generate). It authenticates labels, pickup point search and tracking and is the only way to use the pickup point widget. Stored encrypted, never shown again. |
| Contract number | Your 6 digit contract number. Needed together with the password when you do not use an application key. |
| Password | The password of the contract (the one of your Colissimo Box). If you change it in the Box, change it here too. |
| Mode | Check only or Live (below). |
| Sender | Name, street, postal code, city, country (default FR), e-mail, phone, and your EORI number (only for exports outside the EU). Printed as the sender and used as the return address. Empty fields fall back to the company data of the store (or of the vendor). |
Use Save and test or Test connection: Colissimo validates a sample parcel (checkGenerateLabel) and creates nothing. With an application key the test also fetches a widget token.
Check only and live mode
Section titled “Check only and live mode”Colissimo has no sandbox and no test accounts. In Check only mode every label request is sent to checkGenerateLabel (“data control without label generation”): Colissimo validates the data, nothing is created, no parcel number is returned and nothing is invoiced. Fix what the check reports, then switch to Live. A label that is created and never scanned is not invoiced, so a mistake in live mode costs nothing until the parcel enters the network; ask your Colissimo contact before large label tests.
Wrong credentials are never retried by the add-on: after repeated failures Colissimo blocks the login for a while (message 30013). When Colissimo refuses the credentials (30000, pickup point code 201, tracking 202/401/403), the add-on pauses every automatic call of that account (queue, tracking, checkout pickup points) until you save or test the connection again; after a 30013 block the pause ends by itself after one hour.
2. Add-on settings
Section titled “2. Add-on settings”Add-ons > Manage add-ons > Colissimo Labels, Pickup Points & Tracking.
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enable | Off: no new work is started; jobs already under way finish. |
| Marketplace owner mode | Multi-Vendor only, see below. |
| Debug log, Log retention | Debug stores every HTTP call with masked secrets. |
| Create the label when the order status becomes | Empty = labels by hand. A status queues the label job once per order. |
| Also create a CS-Cart shipment | Stores the parcel number as a core shipment so the customer sees it. |
| Label format, Paper size | PDF or ZPL 203 / 300 dpi; PDF 10x15 or A4. |
| Print the CN23 on the label page | Uses the “unique label” formats (_UL) for parcels that need a customs form. |
| Insure the order value | Sends the order total as the insured value; Colissimo rounds up to one of its 6 levels and invoices the option (up to 5000 EUR, 1000 EUR for pickup point parcels). |
| Default parcel weight (kg) | Used when no product has a weight. Colissimo takes 0.01 to 30 kg. |
| Package length / width / height (cm) | Sent together when all three are set. |
| Days between the order and the hand-over | Estimated shipping date of the pickup point search. |
| Deposit date: days from today | depositDate of the parcel, counted from today in the Paris time zone. |
| Pickup points offered | All points, post offices only, Pickup points only, shops only, and so on. |
| Customer contact data for Colissimo | E-mail and mobile phone (default), e-mail only, or nothing. Pickup point parcels always send both because Colissimo requires them. |
| Commercial name | Shown in the recipient notifications; required for pickup point parcels. Empty = the sender name. |
| If a parcel outside the EU cannot be delivered | Do not return it (3) or return it to you (2). |
| Customs: nature, country of origin, default HS code | See Usage. |
3. Shipping methods and prices
Section titled “3. Shipping methods and prices”Create shipping methods in Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping methods and choose the service Colissimo Home delivery without signature (DOM), with signature (DOS) or Pickup point (HD). On the Configure tab set the price: a flat price or a weight table (2=4.49, 5=5.99, 10=7.49), a free shipping threshold, the countries served (ISO codes, default FR) and an optional weight limit (never above 30 kg). The Colissimo web services have no price operation: the price is yours, from your own contract. Add Overseas France codes (GP, MQ, GF, RE, YT, PM, BL, MF) to a method to serve them; the add-on sends COM / CDS for them.
4. Cron
Section titled “4. Cron”The job queue (labels from an order status, tracking) runs by cron. The settings page shows the exact command and the secret address, for example php admin.php --dispatch=kv_colissimo.cron every minute. Overlapping runs are prevented.
Multi-Vendor
Section titled “Multi-Vendor”With Marketplace owner mode on (default), every order uses the marketplace owner’s Colissimo account and vendors have no Connection page; they can see their shipments and download labels but cannot create, cancel or re-queue labels or jobs on the owner’s contract. With it off, each vendor connects their own account, sender address and key. Queue-wide actions (run now, cron) are for administrators only.
License
Section titled “License”One license per store domain, entered under License in the settings. Without a valid license rates and automatic labels are switched off; existing labels and tracking stay available.
