Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 to 8.3 with cURL and OpenSSL (outgoing HTTPS to api.bol.com and login.bol.com).
- A bol seller account (Verkopen op bol) with API access. You create the API credentials yourself: in the bol Seller Dashboard open Settings, then API settings, and add a new set of credentials. bol shows a client ID and a client secret; keep the secret safe, bol shows it once.
- Products with an EAN barcode: bol matches every offer to its catalogue by EAN.
Install the add-on
Section titled “Install the add-on”- Open Add-ons > Manage add-ons and press the gear button, then Manual installation.
- Upload the add-on zip (or copy the files into the store and refresh the list).
- Press Install next to Bol.com Marketplace Connector and make sure the status is Active.
First connection
Section titled “First connection”- Open Orders > bol channel > Connection.
- Enter your client ID and secret. Test mode talks to the bol demo environment (answers are fixed examples and nothing is changed at bol); live mode talks to your seller account. The same credentials work in both: enter them in both sets, test first, then switch the mode to Live.
- Choose where you sell (Netherlands, Belgium or both) and how you fulfil (you ship, or bol ships), and press Save and test.
- Open Categories, map your categories to bol categories, then Listings to map products (barcode = EAN).
- Set up the cron job (see Configuration).
Update and uninstall
Section titled “Update and uninstall”Upload the new zip over the old one; the add-on upgrades its own tables and keeps your settings. Uninstall removes the add-on tables and settings (orders already imported stay in CS-Cart).
