Installation

← Overview

  • CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x. On CS-Cart (without Multi-Vendor) the installation is refused.
  • PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3. File encryption needs the OpenSSL extension (enabled on almost every host) and the default local file storage.
  • Optional: the core Vendor plans add-on (requirements per plan), our Vendor Onboarding & Registration Builder and Vendor Payouts Automation.
  1. Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the + (Upload & install add-on) button and choose the add-on archive.
  2. The add-on is installed and active. Open its settings to enter your license key (License tab).
  3. Open Vendors → Vendor verification → Document types and check the five document types that were created for you. Change, disable or add types as you need.
  4. Vendors find the new Verification page in their vendor panel menu. Their dashboard shows a notice until they are verified.
  5. Optional: switch on restrictions in the add-on settings (Restrictions tab). They are off after installation.
  6. Optional: add the scheduled task to your cron (see Configuration).

Nothing changes on the storefront until a vendor is verified: then the Verified seller badge appears.

Upload the new archive in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (or use the Upgrade Center when it offers the update). The add-on brings its database tables, settings and texts up to date by itself; document types, documents, levels and the audit log are kept.

Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Vendor KYC & Verification → Uninstall removes the document types, all uploaded documents (var/custom_files/kv_vendor_kyc_verification), the levels, the audit log, the settings and the texts. Download the documents you must keep first. The vendors themselves are not touched, and restrictions end with the uninstall.
