Installation

  • CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x. The add-on is Multi-Vendor only; CS-Cart (Standard/Ultimate) refuses the installation with “Edition of your cart (ULTIMATE) is not supported. Required: MULTIVENDOR.”
  • PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version. The SEPA file needs the PHP XMLWriter extension (enabled on almost every host).
  • A cron job is recommended (see Configuration). Without cron, payout runs happen while administrators or vendors use their panel.
  1. Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear button and choose Manual installation.
  2. Upload kv_vendor_payouts_automation-<version>.zip and click Upload & install.
  3. On the License tab of the settings, enter your license key and save. If you bought the add-on on the CS-Cart Marketplace and entered the license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons, you can skip this step. Until a key is verified, the add-on works for 14 days (see License).
  4. Review the General tab: frequency, payout day, minimum amount, hold period. Create payout requests automatically is off after installation on purpose.
  5. Open Vendors → Vendor payouts → Vendor balances and check what each vendor would be paid. Ask vendors to enter their payout details (the Payouts page next to Accounting in the vendor panel).
  6. Set up the cron job, then turn on Create payout requests automatically.

Installation creates six tables (cscart_kv_vpa_requests, _batches, _batch_items, _methods, _schedules, _order_marks), two privileges and four e-mail templates. No core files or core tables are changed.

Upload the new package over the installed add-on (same steps as installing). On the next admin page load the add-on brings its tables, settings, e-mail templates and language variables up to date by itself. Requests, batches, payout details and settings are kept.

Disabling the add-on (status Off) hides its pages and stops automatic requests. Vendor balances, core withdrawals and the core Accounting page keep working. Approvals or rejections you make in core Accounting while the add-on is off are picked up when you turn it on again.

Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Vendor Payouts Automation → gear → Uninstall removes the add-on’s tables (requests, batches, payout details, schedules), its settings, privileges, e-mail templates and language variables. The withdrawals the add-on created stay in core vendor accounting with their status, so vendor balances do not change. Download the payout files and statements you need before uninstalling.
