Configuration
There are two places to configure: the add-on settings (store-wide limits and the schedule) and each catalog.
Add-on settings
Section titled “Add-on settings”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → PDF Catalogs & Line Sheets → Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enable | Switches catalogs off without uninstalling: no builds, no downloads, the block is empty. |
| Vendors can make catalogs of their own products | Multi-Vendor only. Adds Products → PDF catalogs to the vendor panel. |
| Maximum products per catalog | Upper limit for every catalog (default 1000, at most 5000). |
| Image resolution in the PDF | Longest side of product images: 400 px (small files), 600 px (default) or 900 px (sharp print). Larger photos are scaled down while the PDF is built; the originals are not touched. |
| Rebuild due catalogs during admin visits | Without a server cron, one due catalog is rebuilt after an admin page has been sent (checked at most every 10 minutes). |
| Cron URL key | Any secret text. Gives you a cron URL for web cron services. |
| Server cron | Shows the console command, the cron URL and the last run. |
Scheduled rebuilds
Section titled “Scheduled rebuilds”For exact timing, run the command shown in the settings once an hour from the server cron, for example:
0 * * * * php /path/to/store/admin.php --dispatch=kv_pdf_catalog.cronEach run rebuilds the catalogs whose interval has passed, oldest first, for up to 10 minutes. A catalog that fails to build keeps its last good PDF and is retried after its next interval.
