1. Get a BOX NOW partner account (sandbox first)

BOX NOW registers every partner by hand. Write to the integration support of your country ([email protected], .cy, .bg or .hr) with:

• company name, address, tax id and the contact details for your customers;
• the mobile numbers of the people who will use the BOX NOW Partner Portal (login by SMS one-time password);
• every address where BOX NOW should pick up your parcels (warehouses, shops).

BOX NOW answers with an OAuth client id, a client secret and the API URL, first for the Stage (sandbox) environment. Test there, then ask for the Production credentials. Ask at the same time for your map widget partner id and tell them the webhook address the add-on shows (step 4).

2. Install the add-on

1. Administration > Add-ons > Manage add-ons > the gear icon > Manual installation, upload the zip.
2. Install “BOX NOW Lockers”. It creates its tables and one shipping service, “BOX NOW locker delivery”.
3. Enter your licence key in the add-on settings (License tab).

3. Connect

BOX NOW > Connection (Add-ons > BOX NOW Lockers > Connection):

1. Choose the country of your BOX NOW account and the environment (Stage first).
2. Enter the client id and client secret of Stage (and of Production when you have them). Leave the API URL empty unless BOX NOW sent you a different host.
3. Press Save and test. The add-on logs in and lists your warehouses; press Use this warehouse next to the one BOX NOW picks up from, or enter any-apm if you drop the parcels at any locker yourself.
4. Copy the Webhook address and send it to BOX NOW integration support so they post the parcel events to your store.
5. Press Reload the locker list once (the add-on refreshes it every day by cron afterwards).

4. Cron

Add the cron command shown in the add-on settings (every 5 minutes is enough):

php /path/to/store/admin.php --dispatch=kv_box_now.cron

or call the secret URL shown there. Cron sends automatic delivery requests, polls tracking as a safety net and refreshes the locker list.

5. Create the shipping method

Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping methods > Add: choose the service “BOX NOW locker delivery”, then set your price on the Configure tab. See Configuration.

Updating

Upload the new zip over the installed add-on (or use the Upgrade Center package). The add-on adds new tables, columns and settings by itself on the next admin page view.
