Usage

  1. Open Orders > AliExpress Dropshipping > Import.
  2. Optional: paste one product link into Preview a product to see each variant with the AliExpress cost, the price your rules give and the stock.
  3. Paste one AliExpress product link or product id per line (up to 50), choose the CS-Cart category (or “mapped category”), the status and an optional markup, and click Import. The first products are imported at once; the rest by the cron.
  4. Each AliExpress variant becomes a value of one option (for example “Black / M”) with its own price; variants without stock are hidden from the shopper. Importing a product again updates the same product, it never creates a second one.

The Products tab lists imported products with their AliExpress link, store, state, price, stock and per-product switches (sync stock, sync price, markup override), Sync now and Stop managing (the CS-Cart product stays).

AliExpress returns a category id with each product. The Categories tab lists the ids of your imported products; map an id to a CS-Cart category to receive future imports there, optionally with an own markup.

  1. When an order reaches the push status (default Processed), its AliExpress products are placed on AliExpress with the delivery option that fits the destination (per line). Products of other suppliers in the same order are left alone.
  2. AliExpress splits an order per seller store, so one CS-Cart order can have several AliExpress order ids; all of them are listed.
  3. With “I pay them in AliExpress” the orders wait for your payment in AliExpress (My Orders, awaiting payment).
  4. The Orders tab and the AliExpress tab on the order page show the reference (out_order_id), the AliExpress order ids, status, amount, tracking number and any problem.
  5. Tracking numbers are read on a schedule (or with Refresh) and become CS-Cart shipments. The shipment links the number to the tracking page you chose in the rules.

If the connection breaks while an order is being placed, the add-on cannot know whether AliExpress created it, and the AliExpress API has no search by reference. The order is then shown as Outcome unknown and is never sent again automatically, because sending again could buy the goods twice. On the order’s AliExpress tab:

  1. Look for the reference (for example CS1A2B3C-1001) in your AliExpress account (My Orders).
  2. If the order is there, enter its AliExpress order id(s) and click Link AliExpress order id(s). The add-on reads the order with your token before it links it; tracking follows automatically.
  3. Only if it is not there, tick the confirmation and click Send again. The same reference is sent. If AliExpress answers with its duplicate error (REPEATED_ORDER_ERROR) the order is marked Needs attention instead of being bought again; the documentation does not promise that AliExpress always refuses a second order with the same reference, so always check first.

A canceled order that was not placed yet is stopped. An order that is already placed on AliExpress is marked Needs attention so you cancel it in AliExpress: the Dropshipper API has no cancel call.

Shipping method with the AliExpress delivery fee

Section titled “Shipping method with the AliExpress delivery fee”
  1. Open Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping methods and add a method.
  2. Choose the carrier AliExpress (cheapest delivery) or AliExpress (fastest delivery) and save; the Configure tab needs nothing else.
  3. At checkout the price is the sum of the AliExpress delivery fees of the AliExpress products in the cart (one freight query per variant, cached for 6 hours), converted to the store currency, plus the shipping markup. A cart without AliExpress products does not get this method.
  4. Multi-Vendor: a vendor’s products only get the shipping methods that vendor may use (Vendors > Vendors > Shipping methods).
  • Jobs: counts per state, the list with the last error, Retry, Remove and Run the queue now (administrators).
  • Log: filter and export what happened and when.
  • Connection: app credentials, authorization, token expiry, Test connection.
