Installation
- Install and set up Telegram & WhatsApp Order Notifications 1.1 or later: connect the WhatsApp Cloud API (phone number ID, access token, business account ID), set the webhook in your Meta app to its webhook URL, and switch on Show the opt-in checkbox.
- Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the gear icon, Manual installation, and upload
kv_whatsapp_commerce-1.0.0.zip. CS-Cart refuses the installation while Order Notifications is not installed (it is a dependency). - Install WhatsApp Commerce Suite and enter your license key in its settings (or the CS-Cart Marketplace license number in Add-ons > Manage add-ons).
- Open Marketing > WhatsApp Commerce > Templates. Create the templates you need in WhatsApp Manager with the texts shown there, wait for Meta’s approval, then press Sync templates in Order Notifications.
- Switch on the flows in the add-on settings (one tab per flow) and enter the template names.
- Add the cron line shown on the General tab (every 15 minutes). The COD and stock flows run on their events; the cart, payment and review flows run with the cron.
Optional add-ons it works with
Section titled “Optional add-ons it works with”| Add-on | Version | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Order Risk Guard | 1.1+ | COD confirmation with its code, statuses, expiry and log |
| Abandoned Cart Recovery Pro | 1.2+ | Its carts, signed restore link and coupon |
| Review Request Emails | 1.0+ | Its review link, one day after its e-mail |
| Price Drop & Back-in-Stock Alerts | 1.0+ | WhatsApp as an alert channel |
Without them the add-on uses its built-in versions of the COD, cart and review flows (see Configuration); the stock flow needs Back-in-Stock Alerts.
