Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3 with the cURL extension (standard on most hosts).
- An API key of your AI provider (OpenAI, an OpenAI-compatible service or Anthropic). Not needed for test mode or a local server such as Ollama.
- Outgoing HTTPS connections from your server to the provider’s API.
- Optional: a cron job for bulk jobs that run in the background.
Install
Section titled “Install”- Upload the add-on package in Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Upload & install (gear menu), or install it from the Marketplace.
- The add-on is active right after the installation, in test mode: you can generate sample texts at once.
- Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons → AI Product Content Generator → Settings → Connection, choose your provider, paste the API key and the model, click Save, then Test connection.
- Enter your license key on the License tab (see License).
- Optional: set up the cron job shown under Settings → Costs and queue.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”Upload the new package over the installed one. The add-on updates its tables, settings and texts by itself on the next admin page view; your API key, templates, history and usage log are kept.
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → AI Product Content Generator → Uninstall removes the add-on’s tables (jobs, review list, history, prompt templates, usage log and the encrypted API key), its settings and its texts. Texts that you applied to products stay on the products.
