Mondial Relay Pickup Points & Labels

Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view

Connects CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor to Mondial Relay through its two web services: shipments and labels (PDF or ZPL) from the order page, Point Relais and Locker choice at the checkout with the Mondial Relay picker, return labels and tracking.

  • Labels. Creates a Mondial Relay shipment and its label with the shipment web service (API 2, “WEB SERVICE DUAL CARRIER V-2.7.1”, ShipmentCreationRequest) from the order page, or automatically at an order status. The label is stored with the order (PDF 10x15, A4 or A5, or ZPL for thermal printers) and is never resized.
  • Services. Three shipping services, each its own shipping method with your own price: Point Relais (24R), Point Relais XL (24L) and Home delivery (HOM). The countries are the ones of the Mondial Relay network that your contract covers.
  • Point Relais picker. At the checkout the customer opens the Mondial Relay picker (map and list), chooses a Point Relais or Locker and sees its address and opening hours. The choice is looked up again on the server (point search, API 1) before it is saved with the order.
  • Returns. A return label (the customer as sender, your shop as recipient; collection mode REL, delivery mode LCC) with one click.
  • Tracking. Reads the tracking of every open shipment about every 5 hours (Mondial Relay asks for at most 4 to 6 queries per shipment and day), never asks again after delivery, and shows created, in transit, delivered or problem on the order and in the shipment list. Optional CS-Cart shipment with the shipment number.
  • Safe label creation. The request is saved before it is sent, uses a fixed reference and is never repeated automatically when the result is unknown (the web service has no cancel and no lookup). You adopt the shipment found in Mondial Relay Connect or confirm that nothing was created.
  • Data protection first. Point Relais deliveries send no e-mail address and no phone number unless you switch it on. Home delivery always sends the customer’s phone number because Mondial Relay makes it mandatory.
  • Credentials are stored encrypted; test and live are separate; a job queue with retries (5 minutes to 12 hours) and a log with CSV export; the log masks login, password and keys.
  • Multi-Vendor: marketplace owner mode (one Mondial Relay account for the marketplace) or one account per vendor.

The Mondial Relay web services have no cancel operation, no price operation and no cash on delivery (it ended with V-2.7.1). “Cancel” removes the label in your store only; your prices come from a table you enter on each shipping method; orders paid with the payment method you mark as cash on delivery are refused with a clear message. The D+1 service (XOH) needs an additional EDI file and is not offered. Italy, Poland and United Kingdom flows are not covered. See Conformance for every operation and field and for everything that could not be checked against Mondial Relay’s documents.

  • CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x, Ultimate and Multi-Vendor editions.
  • PHP 7.4 to 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version. The queue needs a cron job.
  • You need a Mondial Relay contract with web service access: the login, password and customer id of the shipment web service (API 2) and the brand and private key of the search and tracking web service (API 1). Mondial Relay issues them in Connect. Home delivery depends on your contract.
