Does Reel work with my add-ons?
Section titled “Does Reel work with my add-ons?”Yes. Reel is a child of the standard Responsive theme and does not override product, cart or checkout templates, so add-on hooks keep working. Kavio Labs add-ons are styled to match each style. In the compact buy controls of reels, tiles and routine steps only the add button is shown; quote request and one-click buttons stay on the product page.
Is Reel only for beauty stores?
Section titled “Is Reel only for beauty stores?”No. Any store that sells by look and buys in small baskets fits: fashion accessories and jewellery, hair accessories, fragrance and candles, nail and men’s grooming, trend gifts, phone accessories, supplements sold as routines. The routine builder works for any “buy these together” set (a skincare routine, a hair kit, a gift trio).
Do I need videos for the reels?
Section titled “Do I need videos for the reels?”No. A reel is a portrait banner image with a caption and a product sticker. Any 9:16 image works; the demo uses generated illustrations.
Why are there no like or view counts?
Section titled “Why are there no like or view counts?”Reel shows only real data: ratings and review counts from your product reviews, product counts and promotion countdowns. It never invents social numbers.
My product photos have a white background.
Section titled “My product photos have a white background.”They show as white cards on the gradient frames. Transparent packshots look best; otherwise lighten the frame colours in the Theme editor or use the Ink style (light grey frames). See Usage.
The routine “Add all” button adds fewer products than shown.
Section titled “The routine “Add all” button adds fewer products than shown.”Products without a price or out of stock (without “buy in advance”) are left out, so the cart never fails. Products with required options go in with their first variant.
Where are the language and currency selectors?
Section titled “Where are the language and currency selectors?”In the slim line above the header when your store has more than one language or currency.
The reel countdown does not show.
Section titled “The reel countdown does not show.”Countdowns show only for promotions with an end date: pick the promotion in the banner’s Theme fields, or put the paired product into a catalog promotion that has an end date.
Does the theme work with the full page cache?
Section titled “Does the theme work with the full page cache?”Yes. Cached pages contain only catalogue data; the bag, wish list count, saved hearts and seen story circles are filled in the visitor’s browser.
