Connection page (Orders > Bring shipments > Connection)
Section titled “Connection page (Orders > Bring shipments > Connection)”| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Sender country | The country you ship from: Norway, Sweden or Denmark (the sender countries of the default services in Bring’s Service portfolio). It picks the Bring services: inside Norway the Parcel Norway domestic services (5800, 5600, 3584, 5000); from Sweden or Denmark, or from Norway to another country, the Nordic services (0340, 0349, 0330). Finland is a destination; a shop with a Finnish Bring agreement enters the service ids of that agreement on each method. |
| Mode | Test: every booking carries Bring’s test indicator. Bring checks it and returns a label, but creates no real shipment and sends no invoice. Live: real bookings. Prices, pickup points and tracking come from Bring in both modes. |
| Test mode / Live mode: Mybring login | The e-mail address of the Mybring user. |
| API key | The user’s API key from the Mybring API page. It is stored encrypted and never shown again; leave the field empty to keep the stored key. |
| Customer number | The Bring API customer number for that mode. In test mode it can be a Bring test number (5 or 6). |
| Sender | Name, address, postal code, city, phone (required by Bring for outgoing services) and e-mail. Address lines are limited to 35 characters by Bring; longer lines wrap onto the second line. |
| Return address | Where return labels send parcels. Leave it empty to use the sender address. |
Save and test checks the login and key with the Customer Info API and confirms that the customer number is one your user may use. If Bring refuses the login or key (401), automatic calls pause until you save or test again.
Multi-Vendor: with marketplace owner mode on (the default), only the store owner has a connection. With it off, every vendor opens the Connection page in the vendor panel and enters their own Mybring user, customer number and sender address.
Add-on settings (Add-ons > Bring Shipping)
Section titled “Add-on settings (Add-ons > Bring Shipping)”| Setting | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Enable | on | Off: no new work starts (no rates, no bookings). |
| Marketplace owner mode | on | Multi-Vendor only, see above. |
| Book the parcel when the order status becomes | empty | Empty = bookings by hand only. Otherwise the order is booked automatically (one package, the product weight) when it reaches this status. |
| Create a CS-Cart shipment with the Bring shipment number | on | The customer sees the shipment number and tracking link on the order page. Test bookings are never recorded. |
| Bring prices include VAT | off | Off: the Bring price without VAT is the shipping price, and CS-Cart adds your shipping taxes. On: the price with VAT is used. |
| Book a free return label with Norwegian domestic parcels | off | For 3584, 4850, 5000, 5600 and 5800 inside Norway, the return label (9350 by default) is booked with the parcel. Bring invoices it only if the customer uses it. |
| Parcel weight when products have none (kg) | 1 | Used for prices and bookings when the products have no weight. |
| Order reference prefix | empty | The booking carries the order id as sender reference, which is visible in open tracking. Use a prefix when several stores share one Mybring user. |
| Send the customer notes as delivery instruction | off | The notes go to Bring as additionalAddressInfo (70 characters), printed on labels of business services. |
| Return service id | empty | Empty = 9350 inside Norway, 0341 PickUp Parcel Return elsewhere. |
| Return additional services | empty | Optional additional service ids for return bookings. |
| Debug log / Log retention | off / 90 days | The debug log stores every call with masked data. |

On the Configure tab:
- Price source: “Bring price” uses the Shipping Guide price for your customer number (your agreement price; the list price when your Mybring user lacks the financial right), plus the mark-up. “Own price” uses the flat price or weight table below.
- Mark-up on the Bring price: a percentage, then a fixed amount in your primary currency. For example, 10 % + 15.
- Own price / Price by weight: your own price, also the fallback when Bring returns no price.
- Free shipping from: an order subtotal from which shipping is free.
- Maximum weight: the add-on books up to 35 kg per package; enter the limit of your service.
- Destination countries: the method is offered only for these countries (default NO, SE, DK, FI).
- Bring service id: leave empty for the table above, or enter another service id of your agreement (for example 0342 PickUp Parcel Bulk).
- Additional services: comma separated ids (for example 1081). They are priced by the Shipping Guide and sent with the booking.
- Show the Bring delivery estimate: shows the expected delivery date from the Shipping Guide.
The Bring answer comes in NOK, SEK, DKK or EUR. Add that currency under Administration > Currencies with a correct rate (it can stay hidden). Without it, the method uses its own price, or is hidden when it has none.
