Installation and setup

Requirements

• CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later.
• Administrator access to the store’s admin panel.
• An InPost Poland business account with ShipX API access. In the InPost Parcel Manager (production: manager.paczkomaty.pl, sandbox: sandbox-manager.paczkomaty.pl) open My Account > Data and complete the company and invoice data, then My Account > API: generate the API token and note your Organization ID. In the same place you generate the Geowidget token (public) for the parcel locker map. Sandbox and production are separate accounts with separate tokens; to create shipments in the sandbox you need funds there (Payments tab, virtual top-up).
• A cron job on your server (see step 7).

Install the add-on

1. Download the kv_inpost-<version>.zip package from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account.
2. In the admin panel, open Add-ons > Manage add-ons.
3. Click the gear button and choose Manual installation, then upload the archive.
4. Find InPost Shipping & Labels in the list and make sure its status is Active.
5. Enter your license key under Settings > License (Kavio Labs downloads) and click Check now.

Connect InPost

1. Open the add-on settings and click Connection (or Orders > InPost > Connection).
2. Choose Test mode and enter the sandbox Organization ID and API token (and the sandbox Geowidget token). Save and click Test connection: a green message with your organization name means the credentials work.
3. Copy the Webhook URL shown on the page into the Parcel Manager under My Account > API (webhook address). It contains a secret key. InPost checks the address with a request that must answer HTTP 200; the add-on does.
4. Switch to Live mode and enter the production values only after a successful test; test again.
5. Open Administration > Shipping & taxes > Shipping methods, add a method, choose the carrier InPost and the service InPost Parcel Locker (Paczkomat) or InPost Courier, and save. (Ultimate: assign the method to the storefront.)
6. In the add-on settings enter the rates for parcel sizes A, B, C and for the courier, the default locker size and, if you take cash on delivery, the COD payment method.
7. Add the cron job from the settings page (Cron section), every minute is fine. Overlapping runs are prevented.

Multi-Vendor

By default the marketplace owner connects one account for all vendors (Marketplace owner mode on). Switch it off to let each vendor connect their own organization id and token in the vendor panel (Connection tab); labels of a vendor’s orders are then created in the vendor’s InPost organization.

Update

1. Upload the new package the same way. Your settings, credentials and data are kept.
2. The add-on adds missing tables and settings by itself on the first request after the update.

Uninstall

Open Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the add-on’s gear button and choose Uninstall. This removes the add-on’s settings, language variables, shipping services and their shipping methods, and database tables, including the stored credentials and labels.
