Marketing > Email marketing sync shows the connection (service, account, subscriber list, last cron run), four counters (waiting, sent in 24 hours, failed, subscribed emails) and the queue with filters by status and type and a search by email or order ID.

  • Send now sends the waiting jobs and continues a running history import.
  • Test connection checks the saved key.
  • Retry failed puts failed jobs back into the queue.

Temporary errors (rate limits, server errors, timeouts) are retried after 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, 6 hours and 24 hours; then the job is marked failed with the error from the API. Other errors (for example an invalid list) fail at once. Sent jobs are kept for 30 days, failed ones for 90 days.

Consent log lists every decision with time, email, subscribed or unsubscribed, source, consent text and IP address. Filter and search it, or export it as CSV.

Under Import history choose customer profiles, existing subscribers and the orders of the last N days, then Start import. The import runs in steps with every cron run and every Send now. Subscribers keep their original consent time (Klaviyo historical import). Running it again does not duplicate order events.

  • Checkout: the opt-in checkbox above Place order, unticked by default.
  • Registration and My account > Profile: the same checkbox; customers who are subscribed see it ticked and can untick it.
