Configuration
The add-on works without any setup. The page itself holds the options for each upload: what to do with existing images, the separator and the alt text.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons > Bulk Image Uploader by SKU > Settings.
| Setting | Default | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Enable | On | Off stops new uploads. History and reports stay |
| Vendors can use it | On | Multi-Vendor: vendors see the page in the vendor panel and upload to their own products |
| Default alt text | [product] |
Filled in on the upload page. Tokens: [product], [sku], [n], [store] |
| Largest image file (MB) | 20 | Larger files show as not valid in the preview. On 4.18 and later the core image size setting also applies, whichever is lower |
| Upload chunk size (KB) | 1024 | Files are sent in parts of this size. The add-on stays below upload_max_filesize and post_max_size by itself |
| Parallel uploads | 3 | How many products upload at the same time. Use 1 on a slow server |
| Keep upload history (days) | 60 | Older records are removed. Images stay on the products. 0 keeps the records |
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”Administrators need the catalog privileges: View catalog opens the page, Manage catalog uploads.
Vendors can use the page when Vendors can use it is on. A vendor only ever sees and changes their own products. In CS-Cart with several storefronts, select a storefront to work inside it; with All stores selected, a SKU used on two storefronts shows as a conflict.
License
Section titled “License”Enter your key on the License tab. Without a valid license new uploads are off. Images already uploaded, history and reports stay available.
