Passkey Login
Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
Passkey sign-in for CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor: customers add a passkey in their account and sign in with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, Android or a security key instead of a password; passkey autofill, several passkeys per account, optional admin and vendor panel sign-in.
- Storefront: a “Sign in with a passkey” button under the sign-in form (sign-in page, pop-up, checkout sign-in) and passkey autofill in the e-mail field of a visible sign-in form. Browsers without passkey support do not see the button.
- Account: a Passkeys page (account menu and profile page) where customers add, name and remove passkeys. One account can have several passkeys (phone, laptop, security key).
- Passwords stay: passkeys are an additional way in. Password sign-in, password recovery and registration are unchanged.
- Admin and vendor panel (optional): administrators and vendor administrators add passkeys on My passkeys and get the same button on the panel sign-in form.
- Admin: Customers > Passkey sign-in lists users with passkeys, sign-ins and refusals of the last 24 hours; Passkey log records every sign-in, refusal, addition and removal.
Need two-step sign-in too? Login Security: 2FA & Passkeys adds authenticator apps, recovery codes, trusted devices and required two-step sign-in for administrators and vendors; your passkeys move over automatically. The Login Pack bundles it with Social Login Pro and Phone OTP Login.
Passwordless-only edition of Login Security: 2FA & Passkeys, built from the same passkey code. While Login Security is active on the same store, Passkey Login steps back (no second button, no own pages) and hands its passkeys over once; see FAQ.
Compatibility: CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 to 8.3. No core files are changed. See Installation, Configuration, Usage, Developer notes.
