Tell search engines about new and changed pages the moment you save them, and let crawlers skip pages that did not change.
- IndexNow: when a product, category or content page is created, saved, hidden, disabled or deleted, its storefront URL is queued and sent with IndexNow. Bing, Yandex, Seznam, Naver and the other IndexNow engines share what they receive. Google does not use IndexNow.
- Key file: the add-on creates the IndexNow key and writes the key file into the store root. When the root is not writable, the add-on answers the key on its own URL.
- Queue and log: URLs wait in a queue, are sent right after the change or by the cron job, and every send is logged with the engine’s answer explained.
- Whole catalogue: queue every active product, category and page once, for example after the installation.
- Manual URLs: paste up to 10 000 URLs of your store and send them.
- Exclusions: paths you never want to send, with
*wildcards. - Last-Modified and 304: product and category pages tell crawlers when they last changed and answer
304 Not Modifiedwhen nothing changed since their last visit. Only for guests with an empty cart; signed-in customers and visitors with a cart always get the full page.
