Loyalty Program with VIP Tiers turns your best customers into members of a tier ladder, for example Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Customers move up automatically when their spend or number of orders reaches a tier, keep their tier during a grace period when they fall short, and see their perks and progress on a “My tier” page.
Each tier is a customer user group of CS-Cart. That is the point: everything CS-Cart already does with user groups works for tiers without extra setup: user group prices, promotions with the condition “User group” (discounts, free shipping, gifts), reward points per user group, and products, categories, pages, payments and shipping methods visible only to some groups.
- Automatic tiers: spend and/or number of paid orders in a rolling window (for example the last 12 months) or lifetime. Cancelled and refunded orders stop counting by themselves.
- Upgrades at once, downgrades with a grace period: customers keep their tier for 30 days (your choice) after they stop qualifying and get a “keep your tier” e-mail.
- Tier rewards: a reward points multiplier (core Reward points add-on), store credit cashback (Store Credit Wallet add-on), a yearly birthday reward (points, store credit or a coupon code) and an early access label for products limited to a tier.
- Perks from core promotions: promotions that target a tier are listed on the My tier page and in the tier e-mails.
- My tier page and badge: current tier, progress bars to the next tier, all perks and the full ladder; a tier badge in the customer’s account menu.
- Admin tools: tier editor, members list with counts per tier, member page with history and rewards, manual tiers with an end date (VIP guests, customers from another program), CSV export and import, tier history report, a read-only REST API.
- E-mails: tier upgrade, tier downgrade, grace period started and birthday reward.
- Multi-Vendor: tiers are marketplace-wide; a checkout split between vendors counts as one order.
- Full page cache ready: tier output only for signed-in customers, who are never served cached pages.
