PDF Catalogs & Line Sheets turns your products into designed PDF catalogs: a cover with your logo and product photos, product cards grouped by category, or a B2B line sheet with SKU, stock and price. The PDFs are built on your own server, rebuild on a schedule so prices stay current, and customers download them from your store, each user group only what you allow.
Key features
Section titled “Key features”- Five layouts: product cards in 2, 3 or 4 columns, a list with descriptions, and a line sheet table. A4 or US Letter, portrait or landscape (landscape cards get one more column), your accent colour.
- Cover page with your logo, title, subtitle, introduction, a collage of product photos and key facts (products, categories, currency, date), plus a link button to your store.
- Products from categories (with subcategories), hand-picked products in your order, or the whole store. Sort by position, name, price, SKU or newest; group under category headings; in stock only; a maximum number of products.
- Prices as a chosen user group sees them, with catalog promotions, the old price struck through and a discount badge, in any store currency.
- Columns for SKU, stock, short description, product features and minimum order quantity.
- Every product links to its storefront page, with optional campaign tags (
utm_source=pdf_catalog). - Scheduled rebuilds every 6, 12, 24, 48 hours or weekly, run by the server cron, a cron URL or admin visits.
- A storefront catalog page and a PDF catalog downloads block. Each catalog is visible to everyone or only to the user groups you tick (for example Registered or Wholesale).
- Multi-Vendor: vendors make catalogs of their own products in the vendor panel; their catalogs appear on their store pages. CS-Cart Ultimate: catalogs per storefront.
- Pure PHP PDF writer with embedded Noto Sans fonts. No external PDF service, no server software to install.
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”- It does not edit page layouts freely: you choose from the five designs and their options.
- It does not print QR codes; products are clickable links in the PDF.
- The embedded font covers Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts. Characters of other scripts (for example Chinese, Arabic or Hebrew) print as a question mark.
- It does not e-mail catalogs. Share the download link or attach the file yourself.
Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x (tested on 4.17.2; 4.21.2 template compile and PHP 8.3 checked).
- PHP 7.4 to 8.3 with GD (a CS-Cart requirement) and zlib.
- Responsive-based themes. Nova (4.21) inherits the block and page templates; they were compile-checked, not tested live.
