Configuration

Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Bulk Quick Order Form. On CS-Cart (Ultimate) with several storefronts, choose the storefront at the top of the admin panel first: every storefront has its own settings.

Settings: General tab

Setting Default Description
Enable the quick order form On Turns the page, the block, the account link and all form requests on or off without uninstalling.
Who can use the form Everyone Everyone: guests too (they add to the cart only if your checkout settings let guests buy, see below). Signed-in customers: guests see a sign-in prompt. Customers in selected user groups: only members of the groups below; other customers see “The quick order form is available to trade customers” and, when our B2B Registration & Approval add-on is active, a link to apply for a trade account.
Allowed user groups none The customer user groups that may use the form when the previous setting is “Customers in selected user groups”.
Show prices and line totals On Shows the customer’s unit price (with quantity tiers), the line total and an estimated order total. Off: the form shows products, stock and quantities only.
Show stock status On In stock, Out of stock or Pre-order under each product. The exact stock is never shown.
Quantities that break the product rules Correct and mark the line Minimum and maximum order quantity, quantity step and available stock of each product. Correct and mark the line: the line gets the nearest valid quantity and a note (“Minimum order quantity is 6.”), and it is added with that quantity. Wait for the customer: the line is marked with the nearest valid quantity and stays in the form.
Products with options Add with default options Add with default options: products with optional options are added with their default choice (as from a product list); products with a required text, checkbox or file option link to the product page. Open the product page: every product with options links to its page.
Empty lines when the form opens 5 1–20. Customers add more lines with Add line or Enter.
Maximum lines per order 100 Up to 500. Longer pasted lists or CSV files are cut at this number, with a message.
After adding to the cart Stay on the form Go to the cart opens the cart when every line was added. Lines that need attention always stay in the form.
Show a “Quick order” link in the customer account menu On Signed-in customers only.
Where the form is The address of the quick order page and how to add it to a menu or place the block.

Guests and your checkout settings. The form follows Settings → Checkout → Allow anonymous shopping: if guests may not buy, guests can still look up products and check lines, and Add all to cart asks them to sign in; if prices are hidden from guests, the form shows no prices to guests either.

Setting Default Description
Reorder from past orders On Signed-in customers see Reorder with their recent orders and load the products of one order into the form.
Number of recent orders to offer 10 1–50.
Saved order lists On Signed-in customers see My lists: save the form as a named list, load it, update it and delete it.
Maximum lists per customer 30 1–200. A list holds up to 500 lines.

The license status is shown in a License card at the top of the add-on page, above the tabs, so you see it on every tab. The License tab holds the key itself. The key is stored once for the whole installation.

License card on the add-on page: status, licensed domain, storefronts, last and next check, with Change license key, Check now and Manage license

The License card shows:

  • the status in color: green when valid, blue for a development host or the 14-day period before a key is required (with the days left), amber when the license server could not be reached (with the days left) or a Marketplace number is still being verified, red when the add-on is switched off;
  • in plain words what the status means and, when the add-on is (or will be) switched off, what stops: the quick order page, block and account link are hidden and no products can be added through the form; saved lists stay and come back when the add-on is active again; the cart and checkout are not affected;
  • the licensed domain, every storefront with its result (covered, development host, not covered), the end of the updates and support period, the last and the next check, and the key in use (masked);
  • the actions Enter license key / Change license key (opens the License tab), Check now (verifies at once and stays on the page), Manage license (your licenses on cs-cart.kaviolabs.com) and, without a valid license, Buy a license.

In Add-ons → Manage add-ons the add-on’s row shows a small license badge next to its name, for example License: Valid or License: Pending · 9 days left.

Setting Description
License key Your Kavio Labs license key (KAVIO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, from My licenses on cs-cart.kaviolabs.com) or your CS-Cart Marketplace license number. If you entered the Marketplace license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (the add-on’s license field), leave this empty: the add-on uses that number.
License status Points to the License card and explains what the check sends.

What the license covers. A license is bound to the base domain you entered at purchase (for example example.com) and covers every subdomain of it (www.example.com, shop.example.com, staging.example.com). Local development hosts are always allowed: localhost, 127.0.0.1 and other private IP addresses, and host names ending in .localhost, .test, .local, .example or .invalid. A store on a different base domain needs its own license. If you move your store to a new domain, contact support.

When the add-on checks. When you save the key, and then once a day. The check runs only in the admin panel (on a page you open) or from cron, never while customers browse the storefront or order, and takes a few seconds at most. A cron job keeps the license verified even when nobody opens the admin panel:

php /path/to/store/admin.php --dispatch=kv_b2b_quick_order_form_license.check

What is sent. The check sends this to https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com and nothing else: the license key, the add-on ID and version, the host names of your storefronts, your CS-Cart version and edition, and a random one-time value. No customer, order, list or other personal data is sent. The server answers with a digitally signed result, so a forged answer is ignored.

Statuses.

Status (card) Color What happens
Valid Green The license is valid for this domain. Everything works.
Development host Blue The store runs on a local development host, which every license covers. Everything works.
Pending verification Amber A CS-Cart Marketplace license number was accepted, but the Marketplace has not confirmed it yet. Everything works.
Pending · N days left Blue No verified key yet (a new installation). Everything works for 14 days.
Grace period · N days left Amber The last checks failed (for example a network problem). The add-on keeps working for 14 days after the first failed check.
Not activated, Invalid key, Revoked, Domain mismatch, Not verified Red The quick order page, block and account link are hidden and the form adds nothing to the cart. Saved lists are kept; the cart, checkout and orders are not affected. Domain mismatch shows the licensed domain next to the domain your store runs on.

When your updates and support period ends, the add-on keeps working. Only updates and support stop.

License information appears in the admin panel only, and only for administrators who may manage add-ons; vendors and customers never see it.
