FAQ

No. The add-on has its own suppliers. If you already use the core Suppliers add-on (drop-shipping), its suppliers appear in the purchasing pages automatically and its product links are used as default suppliers. The add-on never changes core supplier data. If you switch the core add-on off later, the linked suppliers keep their last details and keep working.

Can two people receive the same delivery at the same time?

Section titled “Can two people receive the same delivery at the same time?”

Yes, safely. Receipts of one purchase order are processed one after the other, the open quantity is checked each time, and the stock is increased exactly once per receipt. Sending the receiving form twice does not add the stock twice.

Each variation is a product with its own stock in CS-Cart. Add the variation you order (for example “T-shirt, Color: Black, Size: L”) to the purchase order; receiving increases the stock of that variation.

Yes. For products whose stock is split by the core Warehouses add-on, choose Receive into on the purchase order or in the receiving form; the quantity is added to that warehouse.

Can my supplier see the purchase order without an account?

Section titled “Can my supplier see the purchase order without an account?”

Yes. The e-mail contains a link to a printable purchase order. The link is secret (it carries a key that only works for this purchase order), the page is not indexed by search engines and never cached. Drafts are not reachable.

The supplier’s currency (any currency of your store). Margins and costs are converted to your primary currency with the exchange rate stored on the purchase order.

Why is a product not in the reorder suggestions?

Section titled “Why is a product not in the reorder suggestions?”

Check that it tracks stock, that stock plus the quantity on order is at or below its reorder point, and (with the default setting) that it has a supplier or its own reorder point. Drafts do not count as on order.

Does the storefront note slow down product pages?

Section titled “Does the storefront note slow down product pages?”

No. It is one small query on the product page, the result is part of the product page cache and the same for every visitor (full page cache safe).

Without a valid license (no key after the 14-day start period, an invalid or revoked key, a domain the license does not cover, or no successful check for 14 days), no new purchase orders can be created or sent and the reorder suggestions and storefront delivery notes are paused; existing purchase orders stay viewable, printable and exportable, and goods can still be received into stock, so your stock levels stay correct. Once the license is valid again, everything works again.

Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Purchase Orders & Suppliers → Settings → License. The status line says what is wrong: no key, a key for another add-on, a revoked license, or a domain that the license does not cover. Fix it and click Check now. See License.

Yes. Subdomains of your licensed domain (for example staging.yourstore.com) and local development hosts (localhost, private IP addresses, *.local, *.test) are covered by the same license.

Does the license check slow down my storefront or checkout?

Section titled “Does the license check slow down my storefront or checkout?”

No. The check runs in the admin panel or from cron, once a day. The storefront never runs it.
