Troubleshooting
“Test connection” fails
Section titled ““Test connection” fails”- “eBay is not authorized yet”: press Connect to eBay on the Connection page.
- “The eBay authorization has expired or was revoked”: eBay refused the refresh token (revoked in your eBay account, or older than about 18 months). Connect again.
- Check the mode: Sandbox keys only work in test mode and Production keys only in live mode, each with its own RuName.
- “redirect_uri” or “invalid_grant” while connecting: the RuName on the page must be the RuName of the same keyset, and its auth accepted URL must be the address shown under eBay authorization. The consent code can be used once and only for a few minutes.
- Check for spaces before or after the App ID, Cert ID and RuName.
- The Log tab shows eBay’s answer (masked). Common ones: 401 (token invalid: connect again), 403 (the keyset has no access to the call), 429 or “call limit” (daily limit of your keyset reached: jobs wait and retry), 25002 (the offer or item data is invalid: the message names the field).
- Your server must be able to reach eBay over HTTPS (outgoing port 443) and have a current CA bundle.
A product stays unlisted
Section titled “A product stays unlisted”Open Listings with Only errors. Typical reasons: no business policy IDs or location key on the Connection page; a required item specific without a value (map it on Attributes); the barcode is empty; no image; the category is not a leaf category; the seller account is not opted in to business policies.
Nothing happens after an order changes status
Section titled “Nothing happens after an order changes status”- Check Settings > General > Enable and the order status settings.
- Check the license status bar on the add-on pages.
- Open Jobs: queued jobs wait for cron. If the counts never change, the cron job is not running; run the command from the settings page by hand once.
A job is “Waiting to retry” or “Gave up”
Section titled “A job is “Waiting to retry” or “Gave up””The last error is shown in the list. Fix the cause (authorization, data, eBay outage) and press Retry. Jobs are retried automatically after 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours and 12 hours before they give up.
The category list is empty or the load fails
Section titled “The category list is empty or the load fails”The category tree is one large download (several MB). The add-on raises the memory limit to 768 MB for the call; the server must allow it and a request time of at least two minutes. Loading it once from the command line also works. The category search of eBay’s suggestion API is not used.
The cron address answers “Forbidden”
Section titled “The cron address answers “Forbidden””The key in the address is wrong. Copy the address again from the settings page.
Still stuck
Section titled “Still stuck”Contact us through https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com with the add-on version, the CS-Cart version and the relevant log lines (secrets are masked automatically).
