Installation

1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the gear icon, Manual installation, and upload kv_mcp_connector-1.0.0.zip.
2. Install AI Agent Connector (MCP) and enter your license key in its settings (or the CS-Cart Marketplace license number in Add-ons > Manage add-ons).
3. Open Website > AI Agent Connector. The MCP endpoint of your store is shown at the top, for example https://www.example.com/index.php?dispatch=kv_mcp_connector.mcp.
4. Create a connection, copy its access token and paste one of the configurations into your AI client (see Usage).

Requirements

• HTTPS on the storefront for hosted clients (claude.ai, ChatGPT). Local clients (Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code) also work with HTTP on a test store.
• The web server must pass the Authorization header to PHP. Apache with CGI/FastCGI sometimes drops it; the add-on also reads REDIRECT_HTTP_AUTHORIZATION, and clients can send the token as X-Api-Key instead.
• A firewall or “bot protection” in front of the store must let POST requests to the endpoint through.

Upgrade

Upload the new zip over the installed add-on, or use the Upgrade Center package. The add-on adds missing tables, settings and language variables by itself on the next admin page load.

Uninstall

Uninstalling removes the connections, the change requests and the activity log. Revoke the connection in your AI clients as well.
