Installation and setup
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart (Ultimate) or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later.
- Administrator access to the store’s admin panel.
- A CJ Dropshipping account with an API key. In your CJ account open My CJ > Authorization > API and create the API key. A free account is enough; it may call the API once per second.
- A cron job on your server (step 6).
Install the add-on
Section titled “Install the add-on”- Download the
kv_cj_dropshipping-<version>.zippackage from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account. - In the admin panel, open Add-ons > Manage add-ons.
- Click the gear button and choose Manual installation, then upload the archive.
- Find CJ Dropshipping Connector in the list and make sure its status is Active.
- Enter your license key under Settings > License (Kavio Labs downloads) and click Check now.
Connect CJ Dropshipping
Section titled “Connect CJ Dropshipping”- Open Orders > CJ Dropshipping and the Connection tab.
- Paste the CJ API key, keep the mode on Test, save and click Test connection. A green message means the key works. The key is stored encrypted and is never shown again.
- Click Register webhooks. CJ then calls your store for order, logistics, stock and product messages. Your store must be reachable over HTTPS from the internet; CJ rejects local addresses.
- Open the Rules tab and set the price rules, warehouse country and order rules (see Configuration).
- Test mode sends orders with CJ’s sandbox flag (payment is simulated, nothing is fulfilled). When a test order has gone through, switch the connection to Live.
- Add the cron job from the settings page (Cron section); every minute is fine. Overlapping runs are prevented.
- Create a shipping method with the CJ service if you want CJ freight quotes at checkout (see Usage).
Multi-Vendor
Section titled “Multi-Vendor”By default the marketplace owner connects one CJ account for all vendors (Marketplace owner mode on) and only administrators manage CJ. Switch it off to let each vendor connect their own CJ account in the vendor panel: each vendor then imports products into their own catalogue and sees only their own CJ orders.
Update
Section titled “Update”- Upload the new package the same way. Your settings, credentials and data are kept.
- The add-on adds missing tables and settings by itself on the first request after the update.
See CHANGELOG for what changed in each version.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”Open Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the add-on’s gear button and choose Uninstall. This removes the add-on’s settings, language variables, the CJ shipping services and methods, and its database tables, including the stored API key. Imported CS-Cart products stay.
