Configuration

Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Product Videos Gallery → Settings.

In CS-Cart (Ultimate), the storefront display settings can be set for each storefront: select a storefront at the top of the admin panel before you open the settings. Maximum videos per product and Copy title and preview image apply to all storefronts.

Product page

Position of videos in the gallery	After the main image	Where video slides go among the images: after the main image, before all images (the first video becomes the main slide) or after all images.
Also show a separate “Videos” product tab	Off	Adds a “Videos” tab with all videos and their titles. You can change the tab position and name in Website → Themes → Product tabs.
Show videos in quick view	On	Adds the videos to the quick view gallery as well.
Autoplay muted when a video slide is opened	Off	When the shopper switches to a video slide, playback starts muted without an extra click. A self-hosted video that is the first slide starts on page load. YouTube and Vimeo videos start only after the shopper navigates to them, so no third-party request is made on page load. Respects the visitor’s “reduce motion” preference.
Maximum videos per product	10	0 means no limit. Applied when videos are added in the admin panel or imported, and when videos are shown on the storefront.
When a product also has CS-Cart videos	Show both	CS-Cart 4.21 and later can show its own product videos on some license plans. Show both keeps both sets in the gallery. Show only the CS-Cart videos hides this add-on’s videos (gallery, tab and list badge) on products that have CS-Cart videos. Has no effect on older CS-Cart versions or when CS-Cart videos are not available.

Product lists

Privacy and SEO

Privacy-enhanced players	On	YouTube videos load from www.youtube-nocookie.com, and Vimeo players get dnt=1.
Copy title and preview image from YouTube/Vimeo	On	When you save a YouTube or Vimeo video, the server requests its public oEmbed data and preview image once. It stores the image as the video’s preview image and fills an empty title. Vimeo also returns the duration. Turn this off if your server must not make outgoing requests. The video then shows a neutral placeholder until you upload a preview image.
Add VideoObject structured data	On	Adds one VideoObject JSON-LD block per video to the product page. Each block has the name, description, thumbnail, upload date, embed or content URL and, when known, the duration. A video without its own preview image uses the product image as the thumbnail.

Vendors (Multi-Vendor only)

Allow vendors to manage videos of their products	On	Shows the Videos tab in the vendor panel. Vendors can only change videos of their own products. If the Vendor privileges add-on is active, the vendor also needs permission to edit products.

Other places

• Website → Themes → Product tabs → Videos: the tab name, position and status. The tab content also depends on the settings above.
• Settings → Appearance → Thumbnails gallery: the add-on follows this setting and builds either the carousel strip or the simple thumbnail list.
• Settings → Thumbnails → Product details page thumbnail width/height: the video slide uses the same box size as product images.

License

The license status is shown in a License card at the top of the add-on page, above the tabs, so you see it on every tab. The License tab holds the key itself. The key is stored once for the whole installation (not per storefront).

The License card shows:

• the status in color: green when valid, blue for a development host or the 14-day period before a key is required (with the days left), amber when the license server could not be reached (with the days left) or a Marketplace number is still being verified, red when the add-on is switched off;
• in plain words what the status means and, when the add-on is (or will be) switched off, what stops: add-on videos are hidden on the storefront (gallery, tab, list badge, structured data). Video management in the admin panel and core CS-Cart 4.21 videos keep working;
• the licensed domain, every storefront with its result (covered, development host, not covered), the end of the updates and support period, the last and the next check, and the key in use (masked);
• the actions Enter license key / Change license key (opens the License tab), Check now (verifies at once and stays on the page), Manage license (your licenses on cs-cart.kaviolabs.com) and, without a valid license, Buy a license.

In Add-ons → Manage add-ons the add-on’s row shows a small license badge next to its name, for example License: Valid or License: Pending · 9 days left.

Setting	Description
License key	Your Kavio Labs license key (KAVIO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, from My licenses on cs-cart.kaviolabs.com) or your CS-Cart Marketplace license number. If you entered the Marketplace license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons (the add-on’s license field), leave this empty: the add-on uses that number.
License status	Points to the License card and explains what the check sends.

What the license covers. A license is bound to the base domain you entered at purchase (for example example.com) and covers every subdomain of it (www.example.com, shop.example.com, staging.example.com). Local development hosts are always allowed: localhost, 127.0.0.1 and other private IP addresses, and host names ending in .localhost, .test, .local, .example or .invalid. A store on a different base domain needs its own license. If you move your store to a new domain, contact support.

When the add-on checks. When you save the key, and then once a day. The check runs only in the admin panel (on a page you open) or from cron, never while customers browse the storefront, and takes a few seconds at most. A cron job keeps the license verified even when nobody opens the admin panel:

What is sent. The check sends this to https://cs-cart.kaviolabs.com and nothing else: the license key, the add-on ID and version, the host names of your storefronts, your CS-Cart version and edition, and a random one-time value. No customer, order or personal data is sent. The server answers with a digitally signed result, so a forged answer is ignored.

Statuses.

Pending verification	Amber	A CS-Cart Marketplace license number was accepted, but the Marketplace has not confirmed it yet. Everything works.
Pending · N days left	Blue	No verified key yet (a new installation, or right after upgrading from 1.1.x). Everything works for 14 days.
Grace period · N days left	Amber	The last checks failed (for example a network problem). The add-on keeps working for 14 days after the first failed check.
Partly valid	Amber	(CS-Cart with several storefronts) Some storefronts run on another base domain. The add-on videos are hidden on those storefronts only.
Not activated, Invalid key, Revoked, Domain mismatch, Not verified	Red	The storefront shows no videos of this add-on: no gallery slides or thumbnails, no “Videos” tab, no list badge or hover preview and no VideoObject structured data. Videos added with the core video feature of CS-Cart 4.21 are not affected. Video management in the admin panel keeps working. Domain mismatch shows the licensed domain next to the domain your store runs on.

When your updates and support period ends, the add-on keeps working. Only updates and support stop.

License information appears in the admin panel only, and only for administrators who may manage add-ons; vendors (Multi-Vendor) and customers never see it. When the add-on is switched off, other admin pages also show a notice once per session with a link to the add-on page; the add-on page itself shows the card instead.
