Requirements

• CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 with PHP 8.1 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3).
• PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3. No extra PHP extensions, no cron job.
• The add-on is for Multi-Vendor only. On CS-Cart (Ultimate) the installation is refused with “Edition of your cart (ULTIMATE) is not supported”.

Install

1. In the admin panel, go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear icon and choose Manual installation.
2. Upload the add-on archive and click Upload & install.
3. Enter your license key in the add-on’s License tab (see License).
4. Check the settings (who may manage table rates, taxes for new methods), see Configuration.
5. Open Settings → Table rate shipping (4.17: Administration → Shipping & taxes → Table rate shipping), create templates for your vendors if you like, and tell vendors about the new page (vendor panel: Settings → Table rate shipping).

The installation adds a shipping service called Table rates to the core list of shipping services. Every table-rate method uses it.

Upgrading

Upload the new version over the old one (Manual installation again, or the Upgrade Center). Methods, rate tables, surcharges and templates are kept. Database changes of new versions are applied automatically on the next admin page view.

Disabling

While the add-on is disabled, table-rate methods are not offered at checkout (no error is shown); the vendor’s other shipping methods work as before. Keep at least one other method per vendor if you plan to disable the add-on for a longer time. The tables are kept and are used again as soon as you enable the add-on.

Uninstalling

Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Vendor Table Rate Shipping → Uninstall deletes all table-rate shipping methods (placed orders keep the method name and the shipping cost), the Table rates shipping service, the add-on’s tables (rate tables, rows, surcharges, templates), its settings and language variables.
