Installation

Requirements

• CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on CS-Cart 4.17.2, Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3).
• PHP 7.4 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version.
• Administrator access to the store’s admin panel.

Install the add-on

1. Download the kv_b2b_quote_request-<version>.zip package from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account.
2. In the admin panel, open Add-ons → Manage add-ons.
3. Click the gear button and choose Manual installation, then upload the archive.
4. Find B2B Request a Quote (RFQ) in the list and make sure its status is Active.
5. Open the add-on settings and review them (see Configuration).
6. On the License tab of the settings, enter your license key and save. If you bought the add-on on the CS-Cart Marketplace and entered the license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons, you can skip this step. Until a key is verified, the add-on works for 14 days (see License).

After the installation the “Request a quote” button shows next to “Add to cart” on every product, and nobody’s prices are hidden. Change this in the settings or per category and product before you announce the feature.

Optional: show the quote list in the header

The quote list is always reachable from the customer’s account menu (Quote list appears there as soon as it has products) and from the notification after a product is added. To add a permanent link with a counter:

1. Open Design → Layouts and choose the location (for example the header of the Default layout).
2. Add a block of the type Quote list next to the cart block.

The block is rendered per visitor, so it also works with the full page cache of CS-Cart 4.21.

Update

1. Upload the new package the same way. Your settings and data are kept.
2. Clear the cache: Administration → Storage → Clear cache.

Upgrading to 1.1.0: this version adds the license check. After the upgrade the add-on keeps working for 14 days; enter your license key on the License tab of the settings within that time.

Uninstall

Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the add-on’s gear button and choose Uninstall. Uninstalling removes the add-on’s settings, language variables, e-mail templates, database tables (all quotes and messages) and stored attachments. Orders placed from quotes stay in the store.
