Does it replace the core orders list?
Section titled “Does it replace the core orders list?”No. Orders → Orders stays as it is. The desk is an additional page (Orders → Order desk) plus a Tags & timeline tab on the order page. Use whichever you like; status changes made anywhere appear in the timeline.
Does a bulk status change send e-mails and update stock?
Section titled “Does a bulk status change send e-mails and update stock?”It does exactly what the core orders list does: every order goes through the standard CS-Cart status change. Stock is updated according to the status settings, invoices or credit memos are created, and e-mails are sent to the customer, the orders department and the vendor only if you tick the matching options.
Does it work with 50,000 orders?
Section titled “Does it work with 50,000 orders?”Yes. The list, the count and the search run on the server with paging, the row data is loaded in a few queries per page, and bulk actions run in steps of 20 orders. On our Multi-Vendor 4.21 test store with 50,000 extra orders, a page of 50 orders including the total count loaded in 0.2 s, quick searches (e-mail, phone, name, SKU) took 0.2-0.3 s and selecting all 5,000 matching orders for a bulk action 0.07 s.
Can I search by SKU?
Section titled “Can I search by SKU?”Yes. Type the SKU (or its beginning) in the search box: the desk lists the orders that contain a product with that code.
Who can see internal notes?
Section titled “Who can see internal notes?”Only staff. Customers never see them. On Multi-Vendor, notes written by a vendor are visible to that vendor and to the store administrators; notes written by administrators are not shown to vendors.
Can vendors use the desk?
Section titled “Can vendors use the desk?”Yes, on Multi-Vendor, when Vendors can use the order desk is on. Vendors see only their own orders and their own tags, templates and notes. The core order editor buttons are not offered to vendors, as in the core vendor panel.
Where do the e-mails come from?
Section titled “Where do the e-mails come from?”From the orders department address of the store (or of the vendor, on Multi-Vendor), with the layout of the e-mail template Orders Admin Pro: message to the customer (Design → E-mail templates). Each e-mail sent is recorded in the order timeline.
What does “Duplicate / reorder” do?
Section titled “What does “Duplicate / reorder” do?”It opens the core order editor with a copy of the order for the same customer, so you can adjust it and place a new order. Nothing is created until you place it.
Why was an order skipped in a bulk action?
Section titled “Why was an order skipped in a bulk action?”The preview says why: the order already has the status or tag, the customer has no valid e-mail, or the order is no longer visible to you. During the run, an order is also counted as an error when core or another add-on refuses the status change.
What happens if the license lapses?
Section titled “What happens if the license lapses?”Without a valid license (no key after the 14-day start period, an invalid or revoked key, a domain the license does not cover, or no successful check for 14 days), bulk actions, templated e-mails, CSV export and the pick list are switched off. The order desk, search, filters, views, the quick view, single status changes, tags, notes and the timeline keep working, and a bulk action that was already running is finished. Your orders are never affected. Once the license is valid again, everything is back.
The admin panel shows a license notice.
Section titled “The admin panel shows a license notice.”Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Orders Admin Pro: the License card at the top says what is wrong: no key, a key for another add-on, a revoked license, or a domain that the license does not cover. Fix it on the License tab and click Check now. See License.
Does the add-on work on my staging copy?
Section titled “Does the add-on work on my staging copy?”Yes. Subdomains of your licensed domain (for example staging.example.com) and local development hosts (localhost, private IP addresses, *.local, *.test) are covered by the same license.
What happens if your license server is down?
Section titled “What happens if your license server is down?”Nothing changes for 14 days: the add-on keeps working and retries every hour. Only if no check succeeds for 14 days is it switched off until the next successful check.
Does the license check slow down my storefront or checkout?
Section titled “Does the license check slow down my storefront or checkout?”No. The check runs only in the admin panel or from cron, at most once a day, never while customers browse or check out. The add-on has no storefront part at all.
Still stuck?
Section titled “Still stuck?”Work through the troubleshooting guide, then contact support with your CS-Cart version, edition, PHP version and the add-on version (1.0.0).
