Installation

Requirements

• CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 or later.
• Administrator access to the store’s admin panel.
• The PHP GD extension (required by CS-Cart anyway) for claim photos.

Install the add-on

1. Download the kv_shipping_protection-<version>.zip package from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account.
2. In the admin panel, open Add-ons → Manage add-ons.
3. Click the gear button and choose Manual installation, then upload the archive.
4. Find Shipping Protection in the list and make sure its status is Active.
5. Enter your license key on the add-on page (or the Marketplace license number in Add-ons → Manage).
6. Open the add-on settings and review the fee (see Configuration).

Update

1. Upload the new package the same way. Your settings, orders and claims are kept.
2. Clear the cache: Administration → Storage → Clear cache.

Uninstall

Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the add-on’s gear button and choose Uninstall. Uninstalling removes the add-on’s settings, language variables, its two tables (order protection data and claims) and the claim photos. The fee stays in the totals of the orders that were placed with it.
