Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version.
- The one-page checkout of CS-Cart (the default since 4.10).
- A license key from cs-cart.kaviolabs.com or a CS-Cart Marketplace license number.
Install
Section titled “Install”- In the admin panel open Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear button and choose Manual installation.
- Upload
kv_gift_wrap_messages-1.0.0.zipand click Upload & install. - Open the add-on, go to the License tab and enter your license key. Click Check now.
- Open Orders → Gift wrap options and add your wraps (name, picture, price, taxes). See Configuration.
- Add a product to the cart on the storefront and open the checkout: the This order is a gift box is above the Place order button.
Customers can mark an order as a gift and write a message even before you add any wrap.
Upgrading
Section titled “Upgrading”Upload the new version over the installed one (Manual installation) or install the upgrade package in Administration → Upgrade center. Settings, wraps and the gift data of orders are kept; missing tables and settings are added automatically on the next admin page you open.
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Gift Wrap & Gift Messages → Uninstall removes the settings, the wrap options with their pictures, the gift data of orders and the texts. The order totals are not changed: orders keep the amount the customer paid. To stop offering gift options temporarily, switch Enable gift options at checkout off or disable the add-on instead: everything is kept.
