What the storefront prints
Section titled “What the storefront prints”Every storefront page gets, in its <head>:
- a robots tag (large-preview directives on indexable pages, or
noindexfrom your rules); - Open Graph and Twitter (X) card tags;
- the add-on’s structured data, printed in the same JSON-LD loop as the core SEO add-on.
| Page | Structured data from the add-on |
|---|---|
| Home page | WebSite; Organization (before 4.21) or the missing fields of the core Organization (4.21) |
| Product | The core Product item, completed with condition, seller, return policy, shipping, price validity, GTIN/MPN/brand fallbacks; FAQPage if the product has FAQs |
| Category | FAQPage if the category has FAQs |
| Information page | FAQPage if the page has FAQs; canonical link |
| Blog post | BlogPosting; canonical link |
| Vendor page (Multi-Vendor) | OnlineStore; canonical link |
| Every page with breadcrumbs (before 4.21) | BreadcrumbList |
Nothing in the add-on’s output depends on the visitor, so pages stay cacheable by the CS-Cart 4.21 full page cache.
FAQs on products, categories and pages
Section titled “FAQs on products, categories and pages”- Open a product, category or page in the admin panel and switch to the SEO Pro tab.
- Type a question and its answer in the empty row. Click + for more rows.
- Use Position to order the questions and Status to hide one without deleting it. Delete a row with its trash button.
- Save the product, category or page.
The questions appear at the bottom of the product page (below the tabs), the category page (below the products) and the page content, as an accordion that works without JavaScript. Answers are plain text; line breaks are kept. Each FAQ is also printed as FAQPage structured data, which AI assistants and AI search read; Google shows FAQ rich results only for some sites, so treat the FAQ as content for your visitors first.
FAQ texts are saved for the language you edit in. A new question is copied to every language; translate it by switching the content language of the editor.
Multi-Vendor: vendors see the SEO Pro tab with the FAQ editor on their own products when Vendors can edit the FAQs of their products is on. The robots field is for administrators only.
Robots override
Section titled “Robots override”On the same SEO Pro tab, Robots decides how search engines treat this one product, category or page:
- Default: the rules in the settings apply.
- Index (ignore the rules): none of the add-on’s rules apply (the core SEO add-on’s noindex rules, for example on filtered pages, still apply).
- Noindex, follow / Noindex, nofollow: the page is kept out of search results.
Website → SEO Pro Suite
Section titled “Website → SEO Pro Suite”The add-on’s page in the admin panel has four sections. The license status bar sits at the top.
Page check
Section titled “Page check”Enter the address of any page of your store (or a path such as /index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=12) and click Check page. The add-on loads the page as a guest visitor and shows:
- checks for the title and meta description length, robots, canonical, Open Graph and structured data;
- the head tags (title, description, robots, canonical, prev/next, hreflang);
- the social card tags;
- every JSON-LD block with its types, the properties Google requires (errors) and recommends (recommendations), and the formatted JSON.
Open in the Rich Results Test opens Google’s own test for the same address (public stores only). Only addresses of your own storefronts can be checked.
Catalog coverage
Section titled “Catalog coverage”Counts of active products without a GTIN, MPN or barcode-like product code, without a brand, without an image or without a meta description, and categories without a description. Below: how many products, categories and pages have FAQs and robots overrides.
AI crawlers in robots.txt
Section titled “AI crawlers in robots.txt”Shows where your store serves robots.txt from (the file in the store root, or the CS-Cart robots.txt editor), the block for the current AI crawler policy, and the current robots.txt.
- Write to robots.txt adds or replaces the block, which sits between
# BEGIN Kavio SEO Pro Suite: AI crawlersand# END .... The rest of the file is never changed. On its first change to the robots.txt file, CS-Cart keeps a copy of the original invar/robots.txt(used by its own Restore button). - Remove from robots.txt removes the block.
If robots.txt is not writable, the page says so; make the file writable or copy the block into it on the server. On CS-Cart Ultimate with stored robots.txt per storefront, the block is written for the storefront selected at the top of the admin panel (all storefronts when none is selected).
llms.txt
Section titled “llms.txt”Shows whether the generated /llms.txt is on, a link to it and a Preview of its first lines. The file is a Markdown summary (llmstxt.org format): store name and summary, website, e-mail, phone and currency, categories, popular products with prices and short descriptions, information pages and blog posts, and a link to the XML sitemap. It updates itself when products, categories, pages or settings change.
License status
Section titled “License status”The Website → SEO Pro Suite page shows the license status in a bar at the top: a small green chip when the license is valid, or a banner with what is switched off and the actions. See License.
