Usage
Listings
Section titled “Listings”Orders > eBay > Listings lists the mapped products with their state: not listed, waiting, live or with an error. Add a product with its barcode (the barcode becomes the eBay SKU and, when it has 8, 12 or 13 digits, the EAN or UPC), or add all products of a category. Sync now queues the work at once.
Listing a product makes three calls: the inventory item (title, description, images, item specifics, quantity, weight, condition New), the offer (marketplace, category, price, quantity, your business policies, your location) and the publish. When eBay refuses a step, the reason is shown on the product, for example “Item specific Brand is missing” or a policy error; fix it and press Retry. A product whose offer already exists on eBay for the marketplace is updated, not created twice.
Categories and item specifics
Section titled “Categories and item specifics”Map each CS-Cart category to an eBay category. The list is loaded from eBay’s category tree for your marketplace (the first load takes a moment because the tree is large; the add-on raises the PHP memory limit to 768 MB for that call) and searched by name. The mapping carries the price markup. Attributes maps eBay item specifics (Brand, Color, Model …) of the category to product features or fixed values. Required item specifics without a value stop the listing with a readable message before anything is sent.
Price and stock
Section titled “Price and stock”Stock and price follow every change with one bulk call (up to 25 SKUs per request). Prices are sent in the currency of the marketplace (converted with the CS-Cart currency of the same code or the fixed rate on Rules). A stock of zero sends quantity 0; whether eBay then ends the listing or keeps it hidden depends on the Out-of-stock control setting in your eBay account (recommended: on).
Orders
Section titled “Orders”Paid orders changed since the last run are read from eBay every sync interval and become CS-Cart orders: buyer, delivery address, line items with the unit price as sold. Unpaid, failed and fully refunded orders are not imported; a paid order that the buyer later cancels follows with the status mapped on Rules. An order whose item has no mapped product is not imported and shows the reason (“No product mapping for barcode …”); it is retried.
Shipping
Section titled “Shipping”When the CS-Cart shipment of an order gets a tracking number, the add-on creates the shipping fulfillment at eBay for the order lines with your carrier name and the tracking number; eBay then marks the order shipped. Use the carrier name eBay knows (for example USPS, UPS, DHL, Royal Mail); an unknown name is sent as entered.
Not in this version
Section titled “Not in this version”Cancelling an order, refunds and returns (Post-Order API) are handled in eBay Seller Hub; the add-on shows no Returns page. eBay notifications are not used: the add-on polls.
Log and jobs
Section titled “Log and jobs”Log shows every action with filters and a CSV export (secrets and tokens are masked). Jobs shows the queue, retries and the jobs that gave up, with a Retry button.
