Does it remove malware?
Section titled “Does it remove malware?”No. It shows what looks wrong and how to fix it. Deleting files and changing settings stays with you.
Does it send my data anywhere?
Section titled “Does it send my data anywhere?”No. All checks run on your server. Nothing is sent by e-mail or to an outside service.
Why are files listed after an upgrade?
Section titled “Why are files listed after an upgrade?”An upgrade changes files. Check that you made the upgrade, then accept the current files.
How long does a scan take?
Section titled “How long does a scan take?”About 25 seconds for 15,000 files on our test store. It runs in steps, so a time limit cannot stop it.
Can it be wrong?
Section titled “Can it be wrong?”Yes. A PHP file in var can belong to an add-on, and a template can hold code for a good reason. Each finding names the file or place so you can check it.
Does it slow the storefront down?
Section titled “Does it slow the storefront down?”No. Checks run in the admin panel and by cron.
