Parcel dashboard
Section titled “Parcel dashboard”Orders > Parcel tracking:
- Cards: tracked parcels, parcels on the way (with the number out for delivery), delivered (with the average delivery time of the last 90 days) and parcels that need attention (problem reported, failed attempt, no updates). Each card filters the list.
- List: order and customer, tracking number and carrier, status, last carrier event with place and time, expected date, order status and a Refresh button. Filter by status, search by order ID or tracking number.
- Actions (administrator): Run now (the cron job by hand) and Import earlier shipments (7, 30 or 90 days).
- Activity: the latest webhooks, registrations, status changes and order rules; Full log shows the last 300 entries.
Parcel page
Section titled “Parcel page”Click a tracking number to see the progress bar (label created, in transit, out for delivery, delivered), every carrier event, the service, the registration state, the last update, the order status and the parcel’s own log. Buttons: Refresh (asks the service now), Register again (after a corrected number or a service error) and Stop tracking.
Admin order page
Section titled “Admin order page”The shipping information of the order shows the parcel status and the last event next to each tracking number, with a link to the parcel page. The shipment page shows the same.
Order status rules in practice
Section titled “Order status rules in practice”- The carrier scans the parcel; the service calls your webhook (or the cron job asks).
- The add-on stores new events and compares the parcel status with the last one.
- On a change it looks up the rule for the new status. The order changes only when a rule is set, the order is in one of the allowed statuses and, for Delivered with the wait option, all parcels of the order are delivered.
- The change uses the normal CS-Cart status change, with the notifications you chose. Everything is written to the activity log.
Customer timeline
Section titled “Customer timeline”Customers open the order in My account > Orders. The Delivery status tab shows each parcel: the status in colour, carrier and tracking number (linked to the carrier site when CS-Cart knows the URL), the expected or actual delivery date, a four-step progress bar and the carrier events. The link above the order shows the least advanced parcel, so it says Delivered only when everything arrived.
Multi-Vendor
Section titled “Multi-Vendor”Vendors open Orders > Parcel tracking in the vendor panel and see only the parcels of their own orders; they can refresh, register again and stop tracking. Settings, Run now, the import and the log are for the marketplace administrator.
