Volt is a consumer-electronics superstore theme for CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. Deals come first and every deal can be checked: the real saving, the monthly price and the specs that matter, measured against the rest of the range. A category icon bar under the header, a deal stage with spec callouts, spec meters on every card and a compare tray that follows the shopper turn comparing into buying.
What you get
Section titled “What you get”- The Volt theme, a child of the standard Responsive theme, so every add-on keeps working.
- Four styles that change the ground, the header, corners, cards, meters and type, not only the accent:
- Daylight: warm aluminium-white store, ink type, burnt-orange buttons and meters, a dark deal stage band.
- Signal: retail-chain energy with a yellow top band, deal tiles and trade-in band, an ink header, red buttons and sale badges, square corners and heavy display type.
- Ember: warm graphite dark store with ember-orange buttons, solid meters, pill buttons and rounded cards.
- Carbon: cool near-black store with cyan lines and buttons, coral sale, outline cards and segmented meters.
- Category icon bar under the header (Phones, Laptops, TV & Audio, Gaming and more, with line icons): hovering a category opens its mega panel with subcategory columns, the category’s brands and the top deal of the category.
- Header with a wide search (with a category select), compare, account and wish list icons and a cart button with the cart total.
- Homepage: the deal stage (the deal product in a light box on a dark blueprint band, four leader-line spec callouts, deal price, regular price, saving, monthly price and a real countdown) with two countdown deal tiles, a trust row, Deals of the day with countdowns, brand stores, Bestsellers with category tabs, Shop by category, Head to head (two products with diverging spec bars, the winner lit), a trade-in band, Complete your setup (accessories), Top rated in our lab (lab score rings) and an SEO text.
- Product cards with the deal tag, brand (and refurb condition), three spec meters, a big price with the regular price, a saving pill, the monthly price, a square cart button and a Compare toggle; the seller on Multi-Vendor.
- Compare tray: compared products stay in a tray at the bottom of the screen on every page, up to four.
- Category pages with brand chips, filters (a sheet on phones) and a Quick compare tile in the grid.
- Product page with brand, “at a glance” numbers, the saving and monthly price, colour, storage and protection plan options as chips and cards, “In stock: ships today”, delivery facts, a price history chart (with the Omnibus price history add-on) and a sticky buy bar on phones.
- Cart side panel, sticky header, mobile bottom bar with a Compare tab, subtle animations (off for visitors who prefer reduced motion).
- Installs with complete demo content: the storefront looks finished right after activation.
- Self-hosted fonts (Sora and Inter, SIL Open Font License): no external font requests.
Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- CS-Cart and CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor and Multi-Vendor Ultimate 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on 4.17.2 and 4.21.2).
- PHP 7.2.5 to 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version.
- Works with the full page cache of 4.21.
Licence
Section titled “Licence”Volt uses a domain-bound licence like every Kavio Labs product. Without a valid licence (after the 14-day period of a new installation, or 14 days after the licence server became unreachable) the storefront shows the standard Responsive look instead of the Volt design; cart, checkout and orders keep working and visitors see no message.
