Installation and setup
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor or Multi-Vendor Ultimate 4.17.2 or later, administrator access.
- A CDON seller account for the markets you sell in (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway) and API access to the CDON merchant API.
- Your merchant ID and API token. CDON issues them; ask CDON merchant support ([email protected]) for API credentials and, for testing, for sandbox credentials (CDON gives them on request).
- A cron job (step 9).
Get your CDON API credentials
Section titled “Get your CDON API credentials”- Sign in to the CDON merchant portal with your seller account and check which markets your merchant agreement covers.
- Ask CDON merchant support for API access for your merchant account: you receive a merchant ID and an API token for production.
- Ask for sandbox credentials too, to test the connection, listings and orders before you go live. Sandbox and production credentials are separate.
- CDON and Fyndiq credentials are not interchangeable: use the CDON ones.
Install the add-on
Section titled “Install the add-on”- Download the
kv_cdon-<version>.zippackage from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account. - Admin panel: Add-ons > Manage add-ons, gear button, Manual installation, upload the archive.
- Make sure CDON Marketplace Connector is Active; enter your license key under Settings > License and click Check now.
Connect CDON
Section titled “Connect CDON”- Open Orders > CDON channel > Connection. Choose Sandbox, enter the sandbox merchant ID and API token and click Save and test. “Connected” confirms that CDON accepted them.
- Open Rules. Tick your markets, check the exchange rate of each market currency (enter your own rate or add the currency under Administration > Currencies), set the delivery time per market, your markup and price endings, the default brand and the manufacturer (GPSR) details. Save.
- Open Categories, search the CDON category tree and map your CS-Cart categories. Optionally map properties (colour, size, material, weight …) on Attributes.
- On Listings, add products (one by one or a whole category) and click Sync now. After a few minutes the Listings page shows each article as live, or the reason CDON gave per market.
- Test an order: the CDON sandbox has a “Create a test order” call (
POST /v1/orderswith the CDON article id shown on the Listings page, sandbox only); the next sync imports the order into CS-Cart. Create a shipment with a tracking number on the CS-Cart order and check that the CDON order is fulfilled. - Add the cron job shown under Settings > CDON Marketplace Connector (every 5 minutes is fine; overlapping runs are prevented).
- Go live: switch the Connection page to Production, enter the production merchant ID and token and click Save and test.
Multi-Vendor
Section titled “Multi-Vendor”With Marketplace owner mode on (default), the marketplace owner connects one CDON account and lists any product. With it off, each vendor opens CDON channel > Connection in the vendor panel and connects their own CDON merchant account; vendors only see and list their own products and orders.
Upgrading and uninstalling
Section titled “Upgrading and uninstalling”Upgrade by uploading the new package over the installed add-on. On uninstall the links between CDON orders and CS-Cart orders, between products and CDON articles, the connection, the rules and the settings are kept unless you tick “Permanently delete CDON order and article links on uninstall” in the add-on settings first; a reinstall continues where it stopped and never imports an order or creates an article twice.
