Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart (incl. Ultimate) or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
- Administrator access to the admin panel.
Install
Section titled “Install”- Download
kv_theme_forge-<version>.zipfrom your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account. - Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear button, choose Manual installation and upload the archive. The add-on Forge theme installs the Forge theme files. It does not change your storefront.
- Enter your licence key: Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Forge theme → Settings → License (see Configuration).
- Open Website → Themes, find Forge and click Activate. CS-Cart asks whether to apply the theme’s recommended settings (thumbnail sizes, transparent thumbnails, the image gallery in product lists, stock amounts in product lists, the quantity stepper); accept them for the intended look.
- Choose a style: Hi-Vis, Workshop, Signal or Steel.
The theme brings its own layout (trade counter with the quick order pad, department plates, list-row sections, menu, footer). Layouts of your other themes stay untouched; switching back to your previous theme brings them back.
Upgrade
Section titled “Upgrade”Upload the new package the same way (Manual installation over the installed add-on), or install the upgrade package in Administration → Upgrade center. Then open any admin page once: the add-on updates the installed theme files. Files you changed yourself (for example a style edited in the Theme editor) are kept, and a notice lists them. Your layouts and blocks are never replaced.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”- Switch every storefront to another theme in Website → Themes.
- Uninstall Forge theme in Add-ons → Manage add-ons. The Forge theme files and its layouts are removed.
If a storefront still uses Forge when you uninstall the add-on, the theme files are kept and that storefront shows the standard Responsive look until you install the add-on again or switch the theme.
