Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
- PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version.
- Tested on CS-Cart Ultimate 4.17.2, Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2.
- Products with options (Products → Products → product → Options) or global options (Products → Options).
Install
Section titled “Install”- Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear button and choose Manual installation.
- Upload
kv_product_options_pricing-<version>.zipand click Upload & install. - On the License tab of the settings, enter your license key and save. If you bought the add-on on the CS-Cart Marketplace and entered the license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons, you can skip this step. Until a key is verified, the add-on works for 14 days (see License).
- Open a product option and fill in Advanced pricing & rules (see Usage).
What the installation does:
- creates four tables (
cscart_kv_pop_*) for the option rules, the variant formula values, the product formulas and the one-time fees of orders.
No core files or core tables are changed. Prices do not change until you add a rule.
Upgrade
Section titled “Upgrade”Upload the new package over the installed add-on (same steps as installing). On the next admin page load the add-on brings its tables, settings and language variables up to date by itself. Rules, settings and order data are kept.
Disable
Section titled “Disable”Disabling the add-on (status Off) stops all rules for new carts: products use the core option prices again, every option is shown and the core validation applies. Placed orders keep their prices, fees and totals. The rules are kept and work again when you enable the add-on.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Advanced Product Options & Price Formulas → gear → Uninstall removes the add-on’s tables (rules, variant values, product formulas, the fee breakdown of orders), settings and language variables. Order totals do not change; the order pages simply no longer show the breakdown and the separate “One-time fees” line.
