Order Automation Rules
Add-on ID: kv_order_automation · Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view
Rules that change order statuses on a schedule. Cancel orders that were never paid, complete orders after a set time, move orders of a payment method to another status. Every rule starts in preview, so you see what it would do before it touches an order.
- Conditions: order status, hours in that status, payment method, shipping method, order total, and vendor on Multi-Vendor.
- Actions: change the status, and choose who is notified: customer, orders department, vendor.
- Templates: cancel unpaid orders, complete paid orders, first status by payment method.
- Preview by default: a preview rule changes nothing and lists what it would do. Going live needs a confirmation.
- Only new orders by default: a rule ignores orders placed before it was created, unless you allow them.
- Activity list: every change, with the rule, the order and the old and new status. Orders that a person or a payment changed back are marked.
- Limits: each rule handles a set number of orders per run and acts on an order once.
- Runs from cron: no visitor ever triggers it.
Status changes go through the core function, so stock, notifications, reward points and other add-ons behave as with a manual change.
