Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?
Section titled “Does it work with CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor?”Yes, in CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor and Multi-Vendor Ultimate. In Multi-Vendor the marketplace owner can use one AliExpress account for everyone or let each vendor authorize their own; vendors only ever see their own products and orders.
Which CS-Cart versions are supported?
Section titled “Which CS-Cart versions are supported?”4.17.2 to 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 to 8.3.
Why do I need my own AliExpress developer app?
Section titled “Why do I need my own AliExpress developer app?”AliExpress gives API access only to registered apps. You register on the AliExpress Open Platform, choose the Dropshipping app category and AliExpress reviews it. Using your own app means your data and limits are yours, and nothing passes through our servers. The steps are in Installation.
Is it the official AliExpress add-on?
Section titled “Is it the official AliExpress add-on?”No. It is made by Kavio Labs and integrates with the official AliExpress Open Platform API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by AliExpress.
Where are my App Secret and tokens stored?
Section titled “Where are my App Secret and tokens stored?”In your store’s database, encrypted with AES-256-GCM and a key derived from your store’s own secret. They are never shown again and never written to the log.
Can a paid order be bought twice on AliExpress?
Section titled “Can a paid order be bought twice on AliExpress?”The add-on never places an order twice on its own: the reference is recorded before the call, a lock per order and an atomic state change stop parallel runs, an order is placed automatically only while it is at the push status (or Complete), and an order whose answer was lost is never sent again automatically (see Usage, “When AliExpress did not answer”). If you send such an order again by hand, the same reference is used; AliExpress is expected to refuse a duplicate, but its documentation does not promise it, so check AliExpress first.
Does it pay AliExpress automatically?
Section titled “Does it pay AliExpress automatically?”Only if you choose “Ask AliExpress to pay at once” in the rules; AliExpress then tries to pay with your AliExpress account. By default orders wait for your payment in AliExpress.
Can it cancel an AliExpress order?
Section titled “Can it cancel an AliExpress order?”No. The Dropshipper API has no cancel call, so a placed order that is canceled in the shop is flagged for you to cancel in AliExpress.
What tracking link do customers get?
Section titled “What tracking link do customers get?”The page you choose in the rules: Cainiao global tracking (default), 17TRACK, the carrier’s website as reported by AliExpress, or your own page.
Are product images hotlinked?
Section titled “Are product images hotlinked?”No. Product images are downloaded over HTTPS from AliExpress image hosts only and stored in your store. Images inside descriptions stay hosted by AliExpress unless you switch them off.
What happens if I uninstall?
Section titled “What happens if I uninstall?”The order and product links, the connection, the rules and the settings are kept unless you tick “Permanently delete AliExpress order and product links on uninstall” first. Imported products stay in your catalogue.
My license shows “Pending verification”
Section titled “My license shows “Pending verification””This status appears in older add-on versions when you use a CS-Cart Marketplace license number that our license server has not matched with the Marketplace yet. The add-on is fully working in this state: no feature is switched off and you do not need to do anything. Newer versions show it as Active (Marketplace license). We confirm Marketplace numbers on our side; click Check now on the add-on’s License tab (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → the add-on) a little later and it shows Active. If it has not changed after 24 hours, contact support with your Marketplace order number.
