Installation

  • CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x (tested on Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 with PHP 8.1 and Multi-Vendor 4.21.2 with PHP 8.3). The add-on is Multi-Vendor only; CS-Cart (Standard/Ultimate) refuses the installation with “Edition of your cart (ULTIMATE) is not supported. Required: MULTIVENDOR.”
  • PHP 7.2.5 – 8.3, as supported by your CS-Cart version.
  • No other add-on is required. When Vendor plans is active, commission figures are shown; when RMA is active, return requests are counted.
  1. Go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear button and choose Manual installation.
  2. Upload kv_vendor_analytics_dashboard-<version>.zip and click Upload & install.
  3. The add-on is active right away. Sales figures are available at once for all existing orders. Product views and cart adds are counted from the moment of installation on.
  4. On the License tab of the settings, enter your license key and save. If you bought the add-on on the CS-Cart Marketplace and entered the license number in Add-ons → Manage add-ons, you can skip this step. Until a key is verified, the add-on works for 14 days (see License).
  5. Check Order statuses counted as sales on the General tab. By default the add-on uses the statuses that count for vendor payouts, so the numbers match vendor accounting.
  6. Open Orders → Vendor analytics in the admin panel. Vendors find Orders → Analytics in their panel.

Installation creates one table (cscart_kv_vad_product_stats, the per-day product view and cart-add counters) and one privilege (view_kv_vendor_analytics). No core files or core tables are changed.

Upload the new package over the installed add-on (same steps as installing). On the next admin page load the add-on brings its tables, settings and language variables up to date by itself. Counters and settings are kept.

Disabling the add-on (status Off) hides the analytics pages and menu items and stops counting product views and cart adds. Collected counters are kept and used again when you turn the add-on back on. Orders, payouts and the storefront are not affected.

To keep the pages but stop counting views, turn off Count product views and cart adds on the Product views tab instead.

Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Vendor Analytics Dashboard → gear → Uninstall removes the view and cart-add counters, the settings, the privilege and the language variables. Orders, payouts and all other core data are read only by the add-on and stay as they are.
