DPD Shipping Labels & Pickup Points

Connects CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor to DPD Germany through the official DPD Web Connect web services: parcel labels (PDF or ZPL) from the order page, DPD Pickup parcel shops chosen by the customer at the checkout, return labels and tracking.

What it does

Labels. Creates a DPD shipment and its label (ShipmentService 4.5 storeOrders) from the order page, or automatically at an order status. The label is stored with the order (PDF A6 / A4, ZPL or ZPL300 for thermal printers).
Products. DPD Classic, DPD Pickup, DPD 8:30, 12:00, 18:00, DPD MAX and DPD Express International, each as its own shipping method with your own price (flat or by weight), free-shipping threshold, countries and weight limit.
DPD Pickup. The customer searches DPD parcel shops around the delivery address at the checkout (ParcelShopFinderService 5.0) and chooses one; the shop is stored with the order and printed on the label request.
Customs. Outside the EU customs union the add-on adds the international block with the invoice lines of the order.
Returns. A return label (the customer as sender) with one click.
Tracking. Polls ParcelLifeCycleService every two hours and shows created, in transit, delivered or problem on the order and in the shipment list; optional CS-Cart shipment with the parcel label number.
Data protection first. The customer’s e-mail address and phone number are not sent to DPD unless you switch it on (DPD Pickup needs the e-mail address, the checkout tells the customer).
Credentials are stored encrypted; test (DPD stage) and live (production) are separate; a job queue with retries (5 minutes to 12 hours) and a log with CSV export.
Multi-Vendor: marketplace owner mode (one DPD account for the marketplace) or one account per vendor.

What it does not do

DPD’s web services have no cancel operation, no cash on delivery field (removed in ShipmentService 4.4) and no close-out. “Cancel” removes the label in your store only; orders paid with the payment method you mark as cash on delivery are refused with a clear message. CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x, Ultimate and Multi-Vendor editions.
PHP 7.4 to 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version. The queue needs a cron job.
You need a DPD customer account (DelisID, password, customer number) and DPD’s approval of the integration for the production system.
