Mexico CFDI 4.0 e-Invoicing

Edition: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor · Latest version: 1.0.0 · Compatible with: CS-Cart & Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 – 4.21.x, PHP 7.4 – 8.3 · Changelog: view

Helps you issue CFDI 4.0 e-invoices from your CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor orders through your own PAC account (Facturama or Facturapi): Ingreso invoices, credit notes (Egreso), cancellation with the SAT motives and a global invoice (factura global) for sales to the general public.

  • Ingreso: a customer who enters an RFC at checkout gets an individual CFDI 4.0 when the order reaches the status you choose (or when you issue it by hand on the order page).
  • Factura global: orders without a customer RFC are collected for the period (daily, weekly, every 15 days, monthly or every two months) and invoiced to the generic public RFC (XAXX010101000, PUBLICO EN GENERAL, regime 616, use S01) with the periodicity, month and year.
  • Egreso: a credit note when an order reaches the refund status, or by hand for the whole invoice or for a partial amount.
  • Cancellation with the SAT motives 01 to 04 (01 with the replacement CFDI, 04 for a global invoice), including cancellations that wait for the receiver.
  • Customer fiscal data (RFC, legal name, fiscal postal code, tax regime, CFDI use) as profile fields at checkout and in the account; the RFC format is checked.
  • SAT keys (ClaveProdServ, ClaveUnidad, IVA treatment, optional IEPS) per product and as a category default; IVA 16%, 8% (frontera norte), 0%, exempt or not subject; MXN and other currencies with the exchange rate (TipoCambio).
  • Checked before it is sent: the CFDI is built as XML and validated against the SAT schema (cfdv40, shipped in the add-on) before anything goes to the PAC.
  • Stored: fiscal folio (UUID), the stamped XML and a printable representation with the SAT verification QR code; the customer sees them on the order page, and the XML is attached to the order e-mails that CS-Cart already sends (the add-on sends no e-mails of its own).
  • Encrypted PAC credentials, test and live mode, a job queue with retries and a log with CSV export.
  • Multi-Vendor: marketplace owner mode (one PAC account) or one PAC account and issuer per vendor.
  • It does not stamp invoices itself and is not a PAC. You need your own PAC account with your CSD certificates.
  • Payment complements (REP) for PPD sales, Carta Porte, payroll and other complements are not part of this version.
  • It does not give tax advice. Check the SAT keys, tax rates and invoicing rules that apply to you with your accountant.
  • CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x.
  • PHP 7.4 to 8.3, depending on your CS-Cart version.
  • The queue needs a cron job (see Configuration).

Facturama and Facturapi are trademarks of their respective owners. SAT (Servicio de Administracion Tributaria) is the Mexican tax authority. This add-on is an independent product by Kavio Labs: it is not affiliated with or endorsed by SAT, Facturama or Facturapi, and it is not a PAC (authorised stamping provider): the CFDI is stamped by the PAC account that you choose and pay for.
