Installation

Requirements

• CS-Cart, CS-Cart Ultimate, Multi-Vendor or Multi-Vendor Ultimate 4.17.2 – 4.21.x.
• Administrator access to the admin panel.

Install

1. Download kv_theme_canvas-<version>.zip from your Kavio Labs or CS-Cart Marketplace account.
2. Open Add-ons → Manage add-ons, click the gear button, choose Manual installation and upload the archive. The add-on Canvas theme installs the Canvas theme files. It does not change your storefront.
3. Enter your licence key: Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Canvas theme → Settings → License (see Configuration).
4. Open Website → Themes, find Canvas and click Activate. Accept the recommended settings (thumbnail sizes, the image gallery in product lists) for the intended look.
5. Open any admin page once: Canvas adds its demo content and points the homepage blocks at it. A notice confirms it. Turn Install the demo content when the theme is activated off before step 4 to start with an empty design.
6. Choose a colour scheme: Gesso (default), Matcha, Fresco, Gouache, Marina, Sherbet, Blackboard or Charcoal.

The theme brings three layouts (Main (Canvas), Mosaic home, Index home). Layouts of your other themes stay untouched; switching back to your previous theme brings them back.

Upgrade

Upload the new package the same way (Manual installation over the installed add-on), or install the upgrade package in Administration → Upgrade center. Then open any admin page once: the add-on updates the installed theme files. Files you changed yourself (for example a scheme edited in the Theme editor) are kept, and a notice lists them. Your layouts and blocks are never replaced, and the demo content is never added twice.

Uninstall

1. Switch every storefront to another theme in Website → Themes.
2. Uninstall Canvas theme in Add-ons → Manage add-ons. The Canvas theme files and its layouts are removed. The demo products, categories and posts stay (they are normal items); delete the ones you do not need.
