Installation
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.17.2 to 4.21.x (Ultimate editions included).
- PHP 7.4 to 8.3.
- Standard CS-Cart add-ons used by the homepage: Banners (hero, side banners, promo banners, menu banners, promo cells), Blog (blog posts), Discussion (reviews), Product variations (colour swatches of variations).
Install
Section titled “Install”- In the admin panel open Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click the + button (Manual installation) and upload
kv_theme_keystone-<version>.zip. - The add-on Keystone theme installs the theme files. It does not change your storefront yet.
- Enter your licence key on the add-on’s License tab (a new install runs for 14 days before the key is needed).
- Open Website > Themes, find Keystone and click Activate. The default colour scheme is Ocean.
- Open any admin page once more: Keystone adds its demo catalogue (categories, products with pictures and variations, promotions, banners, blog posts, reviews and a main menu). Turn Install the demo content when the theme is activated off in the add-on settings before step 4 if you want to start with your own catalogue only.
- Open Website > Keystone theme to pick a layout (Market, Classic, Showcase) and a colour scheme.
On CS-Cart Ultimate, activate Keystone per storefront; every storefront gets its own layouts, scheme and settings.
Update
Section titled “Update”Upload the new zip over the installed add-on (Manual installation) or use the Upgrade Center package. Keystone refreshes its theme files on the next admin page and keeps every file you changed yourself (a notice lists them). Your layouts, colour schemes, banners and texts are never reset.
Uninstall
Section titled “Uninstall”Switch the storefront to another theme first, then uninstall the add-on. The demo catalogue stays (it is store data like your own products); delete what you do not need in the standard admin pages.
